Come and enjoy the beautiful Hapu’u trees that surround the property. Relax and enjoy the sounds of endemic birds and their melodies while the Coqui frogs sing at night. The Pacifica Inn is located in the beautiful Mauna Loa Estates just one mile from the town of Volcano. In Volcano you will find restaurants and shops to enjoy during your stay. The Hawai’i National Park is only 5 minutes away. This makes the Pacifica Inn a perfect location after a long day of experiencing all that Hawaii has to offer. The Hilo International Airport is 40 minutes away and renting a vehicle is the best way for transportation around the Big Island.
The Pacifica Inn is located in Volcano which is in a high altitude of 4,000 feet.
Volcano is very tropical and rain can fall at anytime during the day or night. Temperatures can get cold at night so we highly recommend you pack warm clothes along with your swimsuits. The water on the water is not consumable and we recommend guests bring their own drinking water during their stay. We appreciate your interest in the Pacifica Inn we look forward to being apart of your journey.

This peaceful retreat is surrounded by lush, tropical vegetation, and flowers. Enjoy the songs of the Hawaiian birds. The hapu’u room offers large surrounded windows to view the rainforest directly from your room. On cold nights, warm up with a cozy blanket. Set a peaceful mood at night by turning on the landscape light and enjoy the panoramic view of the forest.

As your host, we offer free, fast, and reliable internet as well as a smart TV for your entertainment needs.

*GUEST ACCESS
There is free parking on the premises, limited to 1 vehicle per unit. Additional street parking is not available.

Guests can enjoy their own private quarters in the (The Nene Room) and the shared outdoor spaces. This will include the parking area, driveway, forested yard, and trails.

The hot tub is currently off limits to all guests until further notice.

Please remind and ensure that kids and other guests limit themselves to these designated areas and respect these boundaries, allowing privacy for the other guests.

Here, you will be able to go out on an early morning stroll or jog. It's such a great way to take in the community.

The host is available everyday
7:00AM-10:00PM HST. Late check-ins are allowed. Early check-ins/late check-outs are not always guaranteed, but we will try to accommodate this request as best as we can. Please don't hesitate to contact the host for any needs or concerns that may arise during your stay We want you to have an enjoyable!

*OTHER NOTES
The best way to get around on the Big Island is a vehicle. Buses are an option.
You can find the Hele-on bus schedule on Hawaii County website. You can also find tips and tricks on how the bus operates here on the Big Island.

Please note: that this is a multi-unit property.
There is a total of 2 buildings offering 4 units on site. The Hapu’u unit is located in the back building.
The back building is a side by side unit. It is next to the Nene unit.

Please be advised: A $5.00 towel fee per towel will be charged to the booking guest if a towel is damaged, missing or stained beyond repair.

Upon booking this unit, guests agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Pacifica Inn, property owners, its officers, agents, employees, and servants from all claim, suits, or actions of every name, kind, and description, brought for, or on account of: (A) injuries to or death of any person, or (B) damage to any property of any kind whatsoever and to whomsoever belonging,
(C) any sanctions, penalties, or claims of damages resulting from guest's failure to comply with the house rules, host/manager directions, local laws, or (D) any other loss or cost, including but not limited to that caused by the concurrent active or passive negligence of manager or owner and its officers, agents, employees, or servants, resulting from the performance of any work, maintenance or the involvement required to maintain safe and comfortable rental Unit.
