"Property is very nice. A short walk to a playground by the lake. One block to a nice Mexican Restaurant and one block to a coffee house and a very awesome barber shop where my great grandson got his first haircut. We found out later that his dad had his very first haircut there too. Enjoyed the comfy beds."

"We were very happy to stay at The Chestnut. The pictures were accurate & Kerrie responded quickly when I had a question before coming. We were in Apartment B & our friends were in Apt A. I had broken my foot about a week before we went & I was so glad my husband decided to go...It wasn't a problem but there are approximately 26 steps to go up....but well worth it. The Mexican Restaurant below the apartment has wonderful food. Also, it isn't open late so there wasn't a problem with...

"We had a pleasant stay in the home. Beautiful area with lots of trees and many birds. The home had many helpful amenities, reading on the porch was perfect. We ventured out in the area to the lovely town and surrounding lakes. Great location. Cindy was very helpful and shared activities going on while we were there. Thank you for a great time in the area!"

"This beautiful property is minutes from the lake and river. We spent the weekend visiting friends in Boonville and Rocheport. The rest of the time we were boating or relaxing poolside enjoying the fall colors. Very peaceful and secluded. The caretaker is next door and was very pleasant. Ample parking for our boat. Comfortable and inviting. We will be back. "
