"Enroute to the motel, I took a look at some prior reviews and got real nervous. Luckily, I found them to be very misleading (false even.) Cons - Entering the room (#1) it smelled like cigarettes. The southwest corner of the ceiling looked like it could fall in. The shower is very small. The commode space is even smaller. There was no soap provided. "We chose this house for our stay following a wedding at the Hayloft, and could not have been happier with the choice. The house is beautiful, very well maintained and the owner Michael was fantastic to work with. We would absolutely choose this property again, and recommend to anyone staying in the area. Cheers"

"Home was mostly updated and amenities we good. House did have a musty smell. Never been to the Adirondacks before, so didnt know where to stay. Location was about 1 hour drive from mountain hiking trails. Local restaurant options left something to be desired. desired."

"The apartment was the perfect space for a longer vacation. Plenty of room for three of us without feeling crowded and able to be spread out. I do wish there was more communication regarding the parking spot (but that was a lack of time on my part) and the check out procedures. Overall a very good stay."

"We had a great stay in Oneida Castle for Colgate’s parent weekend. Roughly 25-30 min drive from campus through beautiful countryside and fall leaves. Place is really nice inside, comfy bed, nice living room, and kitchen. Street is under construction, but wasn’t a problem at all. We had a great dinner at Creekside Inn with our student."

"This is one of those reviews I struggle with. It was so perfect that I dont want everyone else to know so that I can reserve it again! Perfect location, wonderful set up and a gracious host. Very roomy, clean and plenty of parking. Safe and secure. Convenient for events at Turning Stone or Vernon Downs. Highly recommend!"

"Another amazing stay at Ariel’s rental. My son’s college is 2 miles away so we’ve rented this home a few times when we visit him. Immaculately clean every time! Beds are heavenly. Movie theatre room down stairs is phenomenal for gathering with friends. The backyard is so peaceful. Being able to bring our furry family along is just another reason why this rental is perfect! "

"We had a great time staying here, it suit our needs perfectly. The beds were very confortable, the space was ample. If you are in town for anything happening at the Utica Nexus Center or Adirondak Center, this place is so close! "

"Firefly Falls is simply wonderful!The Retreat is so spacious, beautifully decorated and filled with so many amenities-everything is very thoughtful and made us feel completely at home! The setting, property and especially the sound of the creek will have you relaxed in no time! Only about 17mins from Colgate University and close to so many restaurants and sights. We cannot wait to return! Robin and Keith thank you for being so helpful and for sharing your beautiful home! "

"7 girlfriends returned for a laughter filled weekend. This is our time to get away from all the craziness of life and to do nothing but enjoy each other’s company & laugh. We love Rays retreat & as always it was spotless & just what we needed! "

"This home was perfect size for 2 families with young children. Spacious bedrooms to fit porta crib and all the extras. Enjoyed the private and quiet space. Clean and host was very accommodating. We would stay in this home again if in the area. Although we weren’t able to utilize the outdoor fire pit area it is a great entertainment area. "

"It was my wife's birthday and we had planned to go to a different casino/hotel. When we got there after a 4 hour drive we found they didn't have any computers. So the casino was closed and the hotel could not honor our reservation. After a brief conversation we decided to go to Turning Stone casino and I knew that the Comfort Inn had just opened and was across the street from Turning Stone. I quickly went on line to see if they had a room available. They did and I booked it. I am so glad...
