It had all of the necessary amenities and the information booklet with all instructions for our stay was great. We had excellent weather for late September and explored lots of places in the island. "We had a great experience at the South Shore Sunset cottage. The hosts are responsive and pleasant. The cottage itself is new, tasteful and modern and provides all the comfort you could need. The beach that the property backs onto has warm, shallow, calm water and is teeming with life, perfect for beach combing or kayaking. We would certainly return to this cottage. Thank you for a lovely stay!"

"Wonderful vacation at this wonderful beach house. Thunder cove beach is stunning. The house is well appointed, and had everything we needed. I would ask for more information in the guest binder. (Area highlights, restaurants, what’s open in the shoulder seasons, how to get down to the beach, if swimming is advisable,). Central island location, ideal for day trips. New sheets are needed for the two kings and more responsiveness from the management company would be appreciated"

"The property was unique. The bed in the main building was very comfortable. I didn't like the shower being in the bunkie and that there was no privacy when entering and exiting the shower. Unfortunately there were many mosquitoes so staying outside at night wasn't possible. The power went off during our stay and we could not find any candles so we drove out to get some. "

"Spacious location for 3 couples, lots of supplies, bbq, great water pressure and steps to the water. Swimming preferred at the more known beaches. Kayaking was available and close to the water. Lots of cooking supplies, don't buy too many groceries before checking with the owner or the cabinets yourself. Recommend Cabot Beach or Thunder Cove beach about 40 minutes drive. Suzanne was super helpful with any issues like propane. Recommend a "what to do cheat sheet" for some directions. "

"We had a very relaxing time! The cottage had all the amenities we needed. The location was great - beautiful sunsets and a very short drive to Thundercove beach. Communication with the host was also very good. Would definitely go back."

"We stayed at this property as a family, the location as a home base to explore cannot be beat. The property was clean, and although work was being done to the exterior when we were there, everyone was so friendly, it was hard to mind. Be aware this is an old house, and the steps are steep to the upstairs. It would have been nice to have was some sort of guide to sorting the recyclables. I would recommend a stay here, and would stay here again."

"A beautiful rustic home, ocean breeze was amazing, kids could run wild without disturbing neighbors. The beach was fantastic and we found so many treasures. Swingset up the beach was a great suprise! Sunrises and sunsets were perfect and smores by the fire was great. Everything we needed was there...minus toilet paper."
