Beach and bush retreat

Our holiday home is a combination of bush meets beach with a peaceful bush and river surrounding, just walking distance to the beach nearby. The prominent sandy foreshore beach near Granite Island is a 1.2m walk away with the 500m long causeway out to the Island. Shops that are just walking distance away which include Hungry Jacks, an IGA, Harbor Bakery, chemist and an OTA petrol shop. We are located on the river with big gorgeous trees, bird and wildlife, in a quiet and peaceful area. The perfect destination for a relaxing holiday. Our holiday home has 1 main bedroom with a queen bed and ensuite. The second bedroom provides a queen bed and the third bedroom has a double bed. All sheets, doona’s pillows and towels are included. There are two sitting rooms with 2 smart tv’s and Wi-Fi included. There is also a room set up as a yoga room and another bathroom separate from the ensuite with a bath- tub and shower. Laundry with washing machine.
There are a few rules that apply.
-No parties (a low-key happy hour is ok)
- Please respect neighbours nearby by not being too loud.
- No dogs to be left alone to bark- dogs to sleep in their doggy beds.
-House to be left in a clean state and rubbish to be put in outside bin upon departing.
And please be mindful of electricity usage (please be sure to turn off the aircon and evaporated air-conditioner when leaving the house and the bbq gas bottle when finished using the BBQ) Please be mindful of water usage, so that we can keep our holiday home at an affordable price for you to come and enjoy again. Country oasis in City area
Home was comfortable, with everything possibly required for our 6 day stay. It was close to all facilities and all within walking distance. Our fur baby “Molly” enjoyed the many walks we did and short car trips to various spots as well.

Bushland retreat
The presentation both inside and outside is full of character and charm and the house is spacious and comfortable. The house backs onto a natural bush setting and we found it quite relaxing looking out from the balcony at the bushland and listening to the birds.

Hidden gem
Come and enjoy a stay in a well designed space that from the moment you arrive puts you at ease. A spacious sanctuary among the trees not more than 5 minutes from the main street of Victor Harbour. Clean, comfy and cozy are just a few words I'd use to describe this lovely home. We enjoyed our stay immensely and will definitely be back.

Beautiful, comfortable and well provisioned home in lovely area
We were delighted with our stay. The house is beautiful and full of homey touches. We'd stopped off at the Mount Compass Distillery and bought a bottle of gin so to find dried lemon slices in the pantry was a welcome surprise. The property backs on to the river with lots of bird song and a lovely walking path. Lovely garden Will definitely come again.

Great Getaway
Great property in an excellent location. Charming house with multiple outdoor relaxing areas. Backs onto beautiful the bush walking trail but with in walking distance to town and the beach. Dog friendly. Loved our stay.

Unusual Experience of Victor Harbour
We had a fantastic stay - the house is well-appointed, beautifully decorated and comfortable, lovely fire, bird lovers haven - instead of only experiencing Victor Harbour’s lovely beaches - you also get to experience the Inman River and walks in the country, minutes away from the shops. All about the Vibe!
If your looking for a place to have calm, be able to reconnect with nature and feel like a home, this is it! Well appointed kitchen and generous living areas this was a perfect spot to relax and unwind. Gardens are lovely to walk though and sit with your cuppa or wine. Straight out the back gate to a relaxed walking path or just sit in the deck and watch the world go by. A truely lovely stay.

Quiet oasis in Victor Harbor
Lovely, modern home in a quiet part of Victor, backing onto the Inman River. The back deck is a glorious spot looking into the trees and bush lining the river, perfect for a relaxing afternoon. All facilities are provided and the home and the rooms are comfortable. This was our first family holiday with our dog and she was safe and secure and had plenty of space in the yard to run around and explore. A dog park is a short walk away and there is a trail along the river that provides plenty of options to explore. Great place to stay!

A great location.
Beautiful house, plenty of room, owners were friendly and easy to communicate with. Great location, the spacious, covered balcony at the rear of the house overlooks the Inman River, you'd think you were in a country location yet its only a short walk along the river trail to the Victor Harbour Esplanade. I'd definitely recommend this property if you're after a quiet and peaceful getaway.
