"The check in process was a little frustrating because the directions weren’t very clear. Getting up to the apartment was challenging with heavy suit cases. There are 45 stairs to climb. Once you are in the property it’s very welcoming a nice. We enjoyed our stay there a lot. There were a lot of broken things which I feel is typical in a rental but bummed that the dryer didn’t work. "The location is amazing. House is surrounded by hills and valleys. Perfect view of Tuscany. Plenty of amenities. Very spacious and clean house. Stay is on the second floor so be prepared to carry the luggage. There are two bathrooms but only one shower. "This is a beautifully arranged and hosted location. It is perhaps 2 kilometers from central Florence, with a steep uphill at the end, but we walked there and back every day except the first. It's really out in the country in an apartment that is part of a big house, with its own entrance. The salon is enormous. Our hosts helped with everything we needed, including a prompt taxi on our departure day."

"Wir waren 1 Woche in dem Haus, wir hatten leider Pech mit dem Wetter, aber Licio (der Eigentümer) hat sich sehr gut um uns gekümmert und uns viele Vorschläge für Aktivitäten gemacht. Das Grundstück ist riesig und besonders für einen Urlaub mit Hund geeignet, da es rundum sehr gut abgesichert und eingezäunt ist. Unserem Hund hat es sehr gut gefallen. Licio war sehr zuvorkommend und hat mehrmals den Pool für uns gereinigt. Auch der spontane Besuch unserer Freunde war kein Problem - Licio brachte...

"The best thing is the location, and the accommodations were good. Having read the reviews we knew what to expect and were not surprised. The downsides were mainly the six flights of stairs and the fact that the bathroom is shared. Antonio was accommodating and offered good advice about what to see and where to eat. "If you're looking for an authentic Florence experience this Piazza della Signoria apartment could not be better located. We dropped our rental car off and walked the tight stone streets for about 15 minutes arriving in the Piazza where we met the housekeeper. She showed us upstairs and walked us through the house rules and details (including Florences' tendency to trip circuits when too many appliances are running) with a friendly and welcoming demeanor.
