"We were staying here for a Tuck/Dartmouth reunion. It was a mix of adults and 4 kids (ages 5-8). We LOVED this spot. It's super easy to get to, right off the highway but felt really secluded and special. Each morning the lake was foggy and it would slowly lift to reveal the hills around the lake in gorgeous fall colors. The cabin itself is so cozy. "The location is awesome, right on the river. Having the firepit was perfect. Although we brought our own wood, having the option to purchase wood right on site is a bonus. "Our stay lasted three nights and four days. The accommodations were great, lots of room, and very comfortable. The upstairs barn apartment was cozy, quiet (nobody was in the downstairs apt), and well-situated for our itinerary. We visited 6 waterfalls, 23 covered bridges, and 4 other points of interest. We would have seen some more, but it rained a good part of one day and we skipped a few."

With antiques, unique collectibles, and interesting artifacts that were placed to be aesthetic to the eye. Yes, there were antique knives and antique toy guns, which added to the unique character of this VRBO. The feel of the house is that it is much loved and there is much thought into what goes in it...
