"Even though the house is on a fairly busy road (NY Rte 5) the quality of construction of the house absorbed the sound. It was not noticeable at all. The view of Lake Erie was breathtaking! Only improvement I could suggest would be steps/stairs to the lake, but I know that is a challenge. Beach access is not far away. "

"Nicely appointed small cottage in front of the owners home. Walking distance (1.5 mins) to the town's small grocery market. Everything was great - suggested that landlord install window screens and drapes in bedroom (there were shades but could have been darker). Those were very minor things - I really enjoyed my stay and appreciated the quiet rural area."

"Overall we were happy with our stay. Beginning started out a little annoying. Check in was easy but wasnt communicated until a half hour after we were able to be there and had to call for the code. Walking in, the floor didnt look vacuumed and beds looked unmade/slept in. We spent the first hour remaking beds (clean sheets were in the dryer), vacuuming (we have a crawler who puts everything in her mouth), and getting rid of all the daddy long legs that were posted up towards the ceiling....

"We were in town to attend a family wedding and stayed 5 days at Angela's cottage. It is spacious and well appointed, we had everything we needed including beach access! Angela is a thoughtful and gracious host. She checked in several times to make sure we were comfortable and to see if we needed anything. And, I would be remiss if I didn't mention the very sweet neighbors next door, Sandra and Tom. We would definitely recommend Angela's cottage and would stay here again."

"This was the perfect spot for a few day’s stay. Loved being able to stand on the deck and see Lake Erie. It was nice to only be a short walk to the beach area and close to some good restaurants. It was a real treat to meet the owner/host…she was amazing!"

"We enjoyed our stay . The beds were comfortable. A plus is that there is coffee and a smores starter pack with firewood for the fire pit.Plenty of parking in the back yard. House was clean plenty of dishes and cups , could use some more pots and pans but we made do very well from what was there. Three bathrooms and plenty of beds. Communication was very good. The Dunkirk Pier is down the street. Not far to stores. We will return 😃"

"You can tell the owners put a lot of thought and care into making this place comfortable, clean, and unique. When I needed assistance, Terry and Angela were quick to respond, going above and beyond. Buffalo/Niagara Falls are less than 90 min north, and Erie/Presque Isle are 90 min south. In 15 min or less from the barn, I spent sunsets on Lake Erie, visited a winery (there are several to choose from), checked out a farmer's market, and spent time at a wonderful used bookshop. "Our team comes up to Buffalo every year for the National Wing Festival in Orchard Park. This was by far the best property we have stayed at yet.
