"O hotel fica no meio da estrada. escolhemos porque era perto de Arcadia, e não muito longe de outra cidade (12milles). O casal que nos recebeu nõa localizou nossa reserva. Isso foi bem ruim, mas assim que a filha deles chegou, ela resolveu tudo. o quarto era muito maior do que esperávamos, tinha uma sala com cozinha completa, e no quarto duas camas de casal. a vista para o lago também era muito bonita. muito bom! Recomendo!!"

"This was a great place for me, my wife, and two girls. It was exactly what we were looking for within a few hours of home. My daughter enjoyed the heated pool, the nature, and tree swing off of back porch. Me and my wife loved the secluded, quiet, off the beaten path property. The front deck/screen porch was great for all of us to just relax and chat. Literally, all the amenities you need are on property (fishing, paddle boat, corn hole, bbq, nature trails, fire pit, pool, 1 frisbee golf hole,...

"Check was easy. Perfectly secluded from the city life. Woke up to enjoy my coffee with the sunrise while the rooster calling and the cows mooing. I will definitely return for another break from reality!"

"The cottage is the most peaceful little getaway for us. We loved seeing the animals on the property and the outdoor living spaces were so lovely to use at night for relaxing. "The house was very spacious and had some wonderful amenities. The shower and the master was amazing! The lake views are spectacular and a lot of places to hang out and enjoy the outdoors. Sitting on the dock is very serene. Will definitely be back.. also, it's very closely situated to a Publix and a Wawa . "

"We were a group of 6 adults evacuating the west coast of Florida due to hurricane Milton. We had a brief stay but our time there was a sanctuary from the storm. The home was spotlessly clean, comfortable and well equipped. Our host, Maria, was very kind and helpful. I would highly recommend this home if you visit the beautiful Lake Placid area!"

"We loved the updated furniture and the outdoor space was amazing. The only issue was the stove was smoking when we tried to use the oven. Nothing a good cleaning cant fix. Overall a great weekend!"

The only thing I would note if you plan to cook is there aren’t any basic cooking supplies (salt/pepper, spices, oil, etc) which would have been helpful. "Home booked for a trip two weeks after a hurricane. Host was open in communications and we were reassured we would have a home to arrive to. Check in process was easy and we were greeted by many delicious local treats. Kitchen stocked with so many basic staples. Coffee station full of options as well. All the rooms were clean, bed linens were comfortable and everything we needed was available. Location was easy to get to and close to town and roads. I would definitely rebook here the next time...
