Charming Beach Bungalow in Midtown ++

Our sweet Bungalow gives you an ideal getaway from the everyday world. The property sleeps up to 6 and is centrally located to stores and restaurants. Ideal for a couple or family, use it as a home base for while you enjoy some of what this beautiful area has to offer. We have a full kitchen, fast internet/cable tv and a beautiful backyard with gas grill for outdoor dining and hanging out. The detached garage can be an office, a writer's retreat, or a kids' space. We are less than a mile from the beach and right in the heart of Midtown. Come explore the beauty of our landscape and the chill vibe of our community. Note: Per City ordinance, quiet hours are 10pm - 7am. Also per City Ordinance, Maximum occupancy is 6 people. Price includes 10% Ventura Lodging Tax. Ventura STVR Permit #2279.

Great Ventura visit!
We used this charming house as a base as we explored the Channel Islands. Everything about the place was lovely--very clean, comfortable beds, great communication with the owner. We loved Ventura, and would definitely recommend visiting this cute town and lovely homey home.

Cozy and comfortable
My longtime friend and I wanted a short getaway and chose this perfect little bungalow in Ventura. The home has virtually everything you need to feel at home. The kitchen is well appointed and it was fun to cook in, rather than eat out constantly. The backyard is a great area to relax in too. There are convenience stores and a Rite Aid/Vons within walking distance if you don’t bring your groceries with you. The beds are very comfortable and everything was extremely clean. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thanks to Tim for a wonderful stay!

Beautiful Home, Lovely Stay
This home is beautiful and well appointed. Lovely kitchen, clean bathroom and rest of the house. Comfy couches, great yard! Overall, just a really lovely property. It can be a challenge to find a property that allows dogs, but this listing allowed me to bring my two small pups and the yard was enclosed, so a great space for them too. The neighborhood was good for walking and my girls were entertained by the goings on on the street while watching through the front window and in the front courtyard. The host, Tim, was very helpful and accessible. The street the home is on is a bit busy for a suburbanite, but these folks have put a lot of thought and care into this place and even had a sound machine in the main bedroom. The notes on the cabinets describing contents, which was helpful. This house felt more a home than just a rental property The email to access the property was very detailed and accurate and I used it often (until it somehow got lost in cyberspace and I had to text Tim for some of this info). I would look forward to staying again when I come back to visit my family. The weather was rainy so we spent most

Perfect Getaway for Relaxation and Fun!

Family Time!
Our small family group of 8 had a good time in this charming, yet accommodating property! The backyard lends itself to relaxing and connecting. The kitchen space and appliances were a special surprise in this beach bungalow. We got lucky with perfect California weather. Over all 5 stars. The only thing that became annoying after multiple times. It was the parking situation. Pulling in and out of the drive way could be a bit hectic during business hours. Other than that. The place and the host are great. I for sure be back here.

Certain properties deserve more than 5 stars
Our first time staying in Ventura, and this property was perfect for us (family of 5 with children's ages ranging from 10-17). We hiked the Serra Cross, the Botanical Gardens, shopped and ate on Main Street, went to the beach and did some day trips into LA. We all loved Ventura so much and want to come back. Thanks to Tim for being an amazing host (he even came by to fix a tire tube on one of the bikes for us). This property is deserving of every glowing review it has received.

Wonderful coastal getaway
Everything about this place was perfect! Check in was super easy and the house has everything a family would need. Our favorite feature was the large backyard and the "cabin" where we'd curl up and watch movies at night. The location was very convenient to Main Street and the beach. Perfect in every way
We were here for a memorial service of a dear friend. The home was a comforting and perfect place for the 5 of us. Lovely outside area. Everything was easy and exactly as advertised. The host was very responsive. We left a special item there and he took care of this immediately. We needed this weekend to be without hassle and it was perfect.

Loved the cottage! Very clean, the pillows and beds were great! Well stocked kitchen. Outdoor areas are amazing! The only complaint we had was the street noise. Other than that great location to walk to just about anything!

Perfect beach cottage
This adorable home was more than we could hope for! It has been lovingly maintained, super clean, and all the utilities are state of the art. The kitchen was a cook's dream, as it was stocked with anything one would need. The big back yard had great seating for 2 or a group, and the trees and landscaping were peaceful and tranquil. Being able to use the fireplace was a great addition as it was a bit chilly, but we did not want to turn on the heat. The house itself is very cozy and comfortable, with lots of games and a great TV set up. The bed was very comfortable, and the sheets super soft. It was nice that the yard is so well fenced off, as traffic tends to get busy on the street, but that was not a drawback, just an observation. Booking and check in were seamless, and Tim was available anytime by text. He always got back to us promptly. Tim and Robin have set up a terrific home, one we plan to book again!

Short stay with family
We stayed here while construction was being done in our house so we are local. But it still felt like a little getaway. The house just has a really comfy vibe and we felt comfortable very quickly. The house is beautiful with a beautiful yard. Our dog was welcomed and our 7 month old was comfortable too. They had all the amenities we needed and great location next to good restaurants and close to the beach.
