Spacious, bright, and perfectly located!

Spacious and quiet apartment in a wonderful neighborhood. A private courtyard is a very quiet and charming. Two bedrooms (each with its bathroom), a large kitchen and a very large living room. Train station is just 10 minutes away from the airport.
It's located in a wonderful neighborhood where you will be able to enjoy the unique venetian lifestyle. Indeed this area of the city is still untouched by the world and you can find (within 2-5 minutes of walk) a lot of art and history together with the best and cheap bars and restaurants of Venice.

Good location. Tough to see the canal from the window. Good price and would rent again. Main contact was easy to work with and schedule initial meeting time.

Comfortable place in Venice
The place was located in a nice quiet area. It was a bit of a walk from the train but we knew that. It was dated and one of the bathrooms did not have a shower head. There was a place for it but apparently removed and not replaced. Had to use a cup to be able to "shower". There was damage to the front door (previous tenant) that was not fixed for some time. light fixtures were missing bulbs or had burn out bulbs. It was ok for 1 night stay but needs some TLC to make it more inviting to guests.

Die Wohnung ist gut und ruhig gelegen. Der Zustand der Wohnung ist teilweise desolat: Die Beleuchtung des Eingangsbereichs mit Stufen funktioniert nicht, im Küchen-, Essbereich gibt es ein Birnchen, sodass dieser Bereich ebenfalls sehr dunkel ist. Kein ausreichendes Licht über der Spüle. Geschirr- und Besteckanzahl sehr dürftig und teilweise schmutzig, kein Geschirrhandtuch, keine sauberen Spültücher. Im Badezimmer mit Badewanne fehlt die Duschvorrichtung, ebenfalls gibt es keinen Fernsehapparat. Das Schlafsofa im Wohnzimmer ist nicht nutzbar, da gebrochen. Es gibt keinen Besen und Kehrschaufel, um durchzukehren. Ebenfalls fehlte ein Wasserkocher, der nachgeliefert wurde, nachdem wir alle o.g. Kritikpunte dem Vermieter mitteilten. Meine Tochter kam überraschend für zwei Nächte. Nur deshalb bemerkten wir das kaputte Schlafsofa.Für diesen Aufenthalt verlangte der Vermieter 120 €. Kurzum: Die Ferienwohnung entspricht in vielerlei Hinsicht nicht der Beschreibung und ist deshalb nicht zu empfehlen Licht über

Check in war tadellos, die Wohnung ist etwas lieblos und pragmatisch eingerichtet, die Sauberkeit war etwas dürftig, grundsätzlich super Immobilie zum Verweilen in Venedig. War schon oft in Venedig, die Wohnung entspricht so dem Standard und ich würde beim nächsten Besuch die Wohnung wieder beanspruchen...

Quiet neighborhood.
Large space with plenty of room. Quiet neighborhood away from the crowds. Massimo gave very accurate directions to the property and check in was a breeze. A bit of a walk from the train station, but close to public transportation we enjoyed our stay.

Equipement minimal qui gagnerait à être amélioré, surtout quand on reste 1 semaine! Linge de maison et serviettes insuffisants pour 1 semaine, par temps de canicule. Eclairage defectueux. Climatisation ancienne et peu efficace. Il manquait la notice du four et un tuyau de douche dans une salle de bain numero 2, de vraies cuillères en métal dans la cuisine et ustensiles trop usagés quil faudrait changer. Probleme d'invasion de fourmis dans la cuisine quil faudrait absolument résoudre! efficace dans la cuisine.

Großartiger Ort in Venedig
Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen, vor allem wegen der Lage, sehr zentral und dennoch extrem ruhig und abseits der ausgetretenen Touri- Pfade. Ein komfortabel großes ebenerdiges Appartement mit der Möglichkeit, sich vor die Tür an den Kanal zu setzen, in der großen Küche gab es eine Klimaanlage, natürlich ist es im Sommer in Venedig trotzdem heiß. Das Appartement ist schlicht, aber ausreichend ausgestattet, wir waren zu zweit, aber es hätte noch gut 2-4 Leute mehr beherbergen können. Es gibt 2 Bäder, was toll ist. Kleinen Abzug dafür, dass die Einrichtung liebevoller sein könnte: die Vorhänge sind zu lang und sind nicht sonkeichtvzu schließen, ein Duschschlsuch ist kaputt und der andere fehlt komplett, und es wäre gut, wenigstens einen Besen zu haben, für den Fall, dass man länger bleibt, trotzdem sehr empfehlenswert, kleiner Supermarkt ist auchbum die Ecke.

The owner was very rude and charged me additional money for being late and having my kids with me. He was very rude and disrespectful to me and my children. We left the apt with bites and ants crawling on us. I should have read the reviews before this stay. VRBO wil not reimburse me for this stay and told me that the owner has to reimburse me. I guarantee he will not reimburse me for this awful mess. VRBO should do something about this. I have been waiting for them to communicate with him about my reimbursement from him. Nothing.

No lo recomiendo, mala experiencia, no hay aire en toda la casa, las toallas y sábanas viejas, un sillón inservible, dos baños pero solo una regadera, no hay botes de basura, solo dos camas en servicio y lo demás es un catre, y un sofá cama, y muy mala actitud de el anfitrión!! Lastima llegar a lugares así!!

The neighborhood was charming and convenient. The check in instructions clear and after only a few minutes of confusion standing around we were kindly greeted by a lady from a window on the third floor who came down to let us in. The main problem though was we couldn’t sleep. For four people, they made the beds up in the main bedroom, which had ok air conditioning and a second bedroom that had none. It was sweltering. There was a futon in another area but not a bit of extra bedding/sheets to be found. There was a fan but it was broken. I asked the host but never heard back. I was also surprised by the $200 extra person charges. I could have cancelled at that point but didn’t bother, so that’s on me. Overall felt it had minimal appeal for the cost.

Overall good
Overall the apartment is nice and in a good location. The host was communicative toward the end but it took getting VRBO involved to improve communication and he helped us out with finding a safe place for my daughter with allergies to eat which we were very appreciative of. There is only AC in 1 bed room so it was very very warm. We were unable to stay both nights due to a strike and the host would not reimburse us the night not stayed but helped in adjusting the city tax. We are trying to file a claim with VRBO to aid in reimbursement.

Don't do it in the summer
Probably the worst VRBO experience ever. There are two types of reviews of this VRBO - with and without air conditioning. We were unfortunately without (and it was actually permanently removed from the listing...it was there before). No AC and opening the windows brought in TONS of mosquitos. We were given two semi-operational fans for two of the rooms. The main room with the leather sofa (fun when you are sweating) that lies flat, had no fan. I kept soaking a hand towel in cold water and placing it on my chest to stay cool. I won't go into other details of why it was so bad...that alone should be enough.

Do not stay here.
Bed bugs or some sort of infestation, my entire family is covered in some sort of insect bites. There was no ac so we had to sleep in 95 degrees, sweating the entire night. No blankets provided. No internet/wifi. No television. Every exchange i had with the owner was incredibly unpleasant. We booked for 3 nights and only stayed 1. Do not stay here i will be seeking a full refund.

Host was friendly and welcoming. Gave specific, helpful directions. Internet worked well. Provided what was listed. As per policy, he charged me late arrival fee, even though we were only 30min. late and it was because the flight was delayed. Host had no grace or understanding for circumstances out of my control. Also, no air conditioning in the house. If that was advertised, I must have missed it. There is a broken air-conditioning unit in the house And the host did not tell us that. Plenty of windows, yes, but no screens and lots of mosquitoes. None of us slept well either night. There are electric wires coming through the walls that should not be loose. If you choose to book this property, be sure to read all the conditions of the rental, and ask questions about what I wrote about. Would not recommend this property nor will I ever return.

Incomplete address
The apartment was very difficult to find because there was an incomplete address. Once we found it, it was fine. I understand it is very difficult to communcate with such a time difference and language issues, but getting through to the owner was difficult.

The good stuff… The housekeeper is very friendly and located close by. Check in was easy and the walk is straightforward from the train station. There is a grocery store just down the road as well. Restaurants line the walk to the location. The bad… The temperature is great with the windows open. The mosquitos love it. They invaded with a hateful vengeance. We lost two people the first night, leaving a third in critical condition. Come morning we bought arms and launched a full counter attack. It was perhaps the greatest spectacle of death in the last two centuries. When the dust settled and the blood dried we basked in the glory of our freedom. After picking off stragglers and reinforcing our position. One last ditch effort was made by the enemy. They were no match for the full force of our band of brothers and were thrown into the sea. I can personally guarantee no mosquitos are left. I leave this as a warning…

Quiet and spacious
Wonderful neighborhood, quiet even on regatta day. Lots of space in both bedrooms and each has an adjacent full bath. Furnishings and decor are spare, and the kitchen is functional for a limited amount of cooking. Overall, this was a great place for a couple of days’ stay and we would have been happy to stay there longer. Host accommodated our late arrival (extra fee, but the only time we could get for our dates). Supermarket nearby for any food you want to fix for yourself, and a couple of close by cafes. Easy walk from the Madonna del Orto ferry from the airport.
