Luxury canal-side apartment in heart of Dorsoduro - Fully Inclusive Rates

Ca' Leonessa is a recently (2010) restored luxury apartment located in the heart of Venice. It is a short walk from the bus and railway stations. Due to its superb location all the sites of Venice are either within walking distance or a couple of stops on the vaporetto. In the furnishing of the apartment the prime consideration has been to create a comfortable and welcoming oasis for you after a busy days sight seeing in magical Venice.

The living room (which overlooks the canal and the Campo San Barnaba) features two Natuzzi sofa's (one double sofa bed) a Linn sound system and HD television with DVD/CD player.

Both bedrooms are bright and airy with comfortable beds and have plenty of hanging/storage space in the bespoke wardrobes. Bedroom 1 has a luxurious double bed with fine linens and traditional Venetian fabrics. Bedroom 2 has two single beds. Both bathrooms are fully tiled with power showers.

The kitchen has been hand built and features dining for 6.

Family vacation

Irene was so helpful from communicating prior to our arrival, check in, questions we had, and helping line up a water taxi for morning of our departure. Property is in quiet area, perfect location, short walk to most attractions. Great view from apt. Will definately stay there if we come back.

Great location

The apartment was nice and in a great location. Many locals lived in this part of town. The bar across the canal was a meeting point for many locals and tourists and always entertaining. Close by are fantastic places for gelato, bread, espresso, and food. The apartment was clean with a great shower. All in all it was a nice experience.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming property in Venice. The neighborhood was absolutely beautifulā€”picturesque streets, a welcoming atmosphere, and easy access to everything we needed. There are restaurants and a grocery store very close by. The host was truly exceptional, offering helpful recommendations and ensuring our stay was as smooth as possible.The home itself was lovely, though we did notice a bit of dust in the corners and around the beds. It was a minor detail that didnā€™t take away from the overall experience, but a little extra attention to dusting would make it even better. That said, the warmth of the host and the fantastic location made our trip truly memorable. We would certainly consider staying here again!

Loved the Location!!!!

Staying in the Dosoduro area was absolutely amazing! It was quieter, cafĆ©s all around, a quaint little bar right across the canal, laundry service down the street, restaurants, Piazzaā€™s everything you could want, but away from the crowds, hustle and bustle. The property was perfect!!!! The host was amazing and so helpful before and during our stay. They met us on site and walked us through everything which was awesome!!!! They also arranged the private taxis to and from the property which was truly so very helpful!!! We will ABSOLUTE stay again at this VRBO and hope you will too. If I had any suggestion it would be to have blow dryers available in both bathrooms since we were lodging with another couple, but sharing was also just fine. You will end up walking everywhere and just getting lost in Venice. It was really nice to return each evening to the quieter area & evenings in Dorsoduro!!!

This property was perfect for us. Easy to get to by water bus, just a short walk from the stop. Away from the crowds but easy to access all the shops. 2 couple staying each with own bathroom perfect. Restaurants just over a bridge and the local supermarket around the corner for breakfast foods, and a little bar a stones throw away. Would highly recommend.

We loved staying at this location. Plenty of nearby restaurants and fun places to visit. The only negative is the noise across the canal from a popular nightspot. We realize it is out of the owners control. Overall, we loved the quaintness of the home with all the modern amenities.

Awesome Stay

Our group of 3 couples visited Venice for 2 nights and this rental was perfect for us. We love the location, which was walkable to everything and right next to the water. Lovely property in fantastic location

This property is within meters of bars, bakery, restaurants, a small supermarket, a fruit barge and is within easy walk of both the Academia and Rialto bridges. Wonderful short break

Location of apartment ideal for visiting the main tourist attractions and good mix of locals and tourists around.. Apartment equipped with everything required and of high quality. Outlook over the canal was really interesting and included the famous fruit and veg barge. Wonderful baker within yards and a useful supermarket really close plus an abundance of cafes nearby. Great property, wonderful location!

We enjoyed our visit very much. A lovely property with a well-equipped kitchen, comfortable living space, nice bathroom and wonderful location. Our host representative was responsive and extremely helpful. Dorsoduro is quiet, full of great restaurants, a convenient grocery store, pharmacy, etc. Close to the vaporetto with easy access to airport and train station via water taxi. Two special amenities? Window screens and Sonos system! Just great!

We were 3 friends visiting Venice. The apartment was very cosy and very well equipped with all we needed for our stay. Near to supermarket, bakery and restaurants. I loved watching all the students from the bedroom window going to college and school, one felt part of Venetian life!! I would recommend this apartment.

A great home in Venice

The property was greatā€”well-equipped, amazing location. It was easy to walk to any attractions we wanted, and thereā€™s a market ( floating!) on your doorstep with bakery and grocery just around the corner. Sehr schƶne Wohnung, liebevoll ausgestattet, in gefĆ¼hlt fast touristenfreiem Gebiet, zahlreiche Lokale in der NƤhe, auch ein Supermarkt oder andere LebensmittellƤden. Nur ein paar Schritte zum Vaporetto Ca Rezzonico, 15 min zu FuƟ zur RialtobrĆ¼cke, 15 min zum Bahnhof. Das einzige Manko, was vielleicht an einer lƤngeren vorhergehenden Nichtnutzung lag, war der etwas unangenehme Geruch in den BƤdern aus den Abflussrohren. Trotzdem gerne wieder!
