"An absolutely beautiful house to stay in. We used this as a home base over several days in order to check out Santa Fe and Taos. It took about an hour to get to both from the house. There was plenty of room for 4 adults. "

"Our stay was in the middle of June and it was wonderful. The house was awesome and very comfortable. The location was great right up against the national forest. If you are looking for a secluded getaway this is the perfect spot. "

"We had had car trouble prior to arriving and the serenity of this place calmed our frazzled nerves. Our host was very responsive to all of our needs. Especially liked having chocolate there to welcome us and enjoyed the homemade cherry jelly with toast for breakfast. The backyard was very zen and peaceful. Feeling grateful."

"This is the second stay for us at this home. Very nicely updated adobe home. We love the outdoor spaces and the amazing views and plenty of room for our family. Ben the owner responded very quickly to questions. I love the open floor plan that allowed us to cook while visiting. Well stocked with basic necessities. If you enjoy watching hummingbirds bring a feeder and you will be thoroughly entertained. "

"The backyard was amazing and made the stay here worth it just by itself! Lots of seating right along the river and a picnic table. The flowers and grass were well maintained. The inside of the house had everything we needed for our 2-day stay. The only thing I’ll say is there is no cell service there but they did have WiFi that worked great. Overall we would definitely recommend!"

"Floyd was communicative and kind. The House was beautiful as well as the surrounding mountains and the fenced in yard. My only complaint is that I didn't have enough time to explore and had too much work to do - no fault of the host. And my dog and I had a relaxing and peaceful escape from the fireworks and 4th of July shenanigans that happened in Albuquerque this past weekend. We most definitely will return and check out Ghost Ranch and Ojo Caliente next time. I highly recommend. "

"We came on a Sunday night, hard to find on app, and we were completely alone until after dark, as the restaurant is closed on Sunday evening. We loved the room-it could use a microwave especially as it is so isolated)and the views are fabulous"

"It was perfect for my husband and I because it was the last leg of a long road trip so we were able to rest and rejuvenate. It is very remote, tucked away on its own about 40-50 minutes from Santa Fe on a very rural stretch. We enjoyed our stay and the chef prepared room service dinner very much! "

"The house was perfect for our family. Lots of space for all of us, and the perfect location for day trips around the area. We enjoyed coffee every morning, and after dinner time, down by the creek. We loved seeing the hummingbirds, yellow monarch butterflies, American Robins, and even a brave muskrat on the property. Necessities (coffee, hand soap, laundry detergent, etc. ) were provided, and we loved seeing the kids master the VHS and DVD players. "

"The second we opened our car door we knew this place was magical. Chef Graham who has the property is one incredible and talented man. If you're looking for beauty, peace and decompression then head their way...you won't go wrong."

"Lovely home in a beautiful place. We enjoyed the screened porch and the bedrooms with their own bathrooms were perfect for our 3 adult children and their partners. It was a great "home base" for visiting our friends in Abiquiu and at Ghost Ranch, shopping in Santa Fe, and hiking at Bandelier and in the Carson National Forest. We also enjoyed some quiet days doing art projects and birding around the house. A highlight was heading out to the road late one night to photograph the incredible night...

"It is a historic home in a nice little town way up in the mountains. There is a small store, gas station, clinic, and a couple of restaurants within walking distance. We were visiting for a graduation, and the house is only a block away from the school. The house is obviously remodeled. The wifi was excellent, never had a problem with it. We enjoyed ourselves completely. "
