"Everything lined up with the listing: great view, beautiful home, fun game room. Got surprised (coming from a city) at how dark the night sky was. Really enjoyed the stars. The Gorge is a beautiful place. Whether you are visting for the first time or are practically a local, this house is close to everything you will want to do. Have rented places along both the WA and OR sides of the river in the past, and this is my new favorite property."

"Stayed with a group friends for a wedding. Property was perfect and great to be walking distance from town! "

"Our Family - Son, Daughter-in-Law, Grandson, Grandma, Grandpa came from Pennsylvania to visit our son and his fiance that live in Lyle. The house is less than a 5 minute walk from them and is absolutely awesome! There was plenty of room, it was spotless, had everything we needed, and the views are amazing! We would highly recommend this property and look forward to our next visit."

"Great location, very clean, and had everything we needed. Easy walk into White Salmon for dinner or anything else you might need. Was a perfect to enjoy a weekend around Hood River enjoying beer, wine and fun. "

"My daughter attended an outdoor camp with a local gym. I needed a place where we could relax in the evening and I could work remotely during the day. The general location was perfect. Easily walkable to everything. It took us about a day to get used to the train traffic. Our Ford Explorer fits in the garage, but exiting the garage took a little effort (I felt like Austin Powers) but it was doable and a safe parking spot far outweighed any challenges. "We enjoyed our stay in Shelrock cabin. They provide so many thoughtful details including snacks and cozy blankets. The cabin is a great location to access all the Gorge has to offer."

"This condo was pretty great for our weekend getaway. Three couples, each couple had their own bathroom. Very clean and comfortable. Great location.cleancComfortable. "

"This property is very convenient to all of the downtown activities. Very walkable to restaurants, breweries, and shopping. A little trouble with check in and WiFi, but was able to get problems fixed with a couple of text messages and a visit from a technician. Property definitely needs updating but was well kept and clean."

"We had a great stay. The resort is older but very well maintained and clean. Jacuzzi on the balcony was nice, I like that you can turn down the temperature of the water. Not everyone can handle the 104 degree water. So that was a plus."

"Great river/mountain view from our 2-queen balcony room, which was very large and scrubbed clean. Fridge, microwave, iron, TV with many channels/networks, full length mirror. Coffee maker with locally-ish sourced coffee. (Which, however, was the only bad thing about our stay. Very bad.) The entrance to the campus was a little discouraging, but the room was super. February Sunday night price was a great bargain."
