"We stayed for 3 nights and wished it was a week. The apartment was as comfortable and the view as beautiful as advertised. We did not have a car But it was easy to get to and from the lovely town of Varenna by cab. Marco was a very gracious and helpful host I highly recommend this property. "

"Everything about the house is fantastic with great views across Lake Como. The hosts, Danielle and Marco were flgreat and greeted us upon arrival. We were very spoilt with a bottle of bubbly and delicious snacks. The house was a little further out of Varenna than we thought, but we love to walk and we think we left fitter than when we arrived. We would definitely recommend staying at El Lavandee."

"Casa bonita a pie de lago. Entorno y vistas espectaculares. Destacar la atención y la rápida respuesta a todas nuestras necesidades del propietario. Fallo de la casa la cocina demasiado pequeña y sin espacios para trabajar. Lo peor y que no se indica, un baño fuera de la casa lleno de humedad. Horrible. Aconsejamos arreglar el automatismo de la verja. Carretera con mucho trafico y es dificil y peligroso la entrada y salida de coches."

"If you are looking at visiting the Lake Como area with your kids, or other families, I strongly recommend Mandello and Villa Ornella. The layout of the house is great, the size perfect to accommodate 2 or even 3 families and Furio was a great host. "We stayed in the apartment for 2 nights during a train trip through Europe and the apartment was everything we could have wanted. Brilliant location 5 mins walk from station on vibrant town centre street. Secure door entry, extremely clean and comfortable, bedroom at back of property so no street noise. Very comfortable bed. Fantastic little balcony for enjoying a glass of wine or getting the laundry dry! We would love to return and stay for longer!"

"The accomodation is a short walk from the quaint lake side town. The town is easily connected via train station to any area in Lake Como. The properties lake and mountain views are gorgeous sipping your favorite beverage on the veranda. Breakfast was a variety of local pastries, yoghurt, juices, coffee/tea… Marco is a fabulous host!
