"The staff was great and the property was very clean. Also, my room was cleaned and the bed was made upon my return for both days. You don't really find that anymore. Overall an excellent experience."

"This is a beautifully restored old mansion in a great neighborhood. There are numerous restaurants and entertainment venues within two blocks. There is no on site staff but everything we needed was readily available including a small complementary minibar. Room was comfortable and spotless."
"I liked that the Gardener's Cottage was secluded and private. The noise outside was minimal and the rooms were homey. The parking in the adjacent lot was sufficient. "Definitely recommend! This place is nice, clean, good breakfast, and the room was so spacious! We had the King with Sofa-bed option and there was so much vacant space even with the sofa-bed pulled out. This would be great for a family with multiple kids or a pack and play crib, air mattress, etc. Everything feels new and there are so many outlets and whatnot! Also, our check-in staff member was so hospitable! I believe his name was James. Excellent! "
"We completely enjoyed the pool! The room was also very clean and I loved that it had a kitchen where i could prepare meals and not have to spend money eating out for every meal. My grandson (age 7) and I did a fun weekend away before school started back. We were able to walk to the Museum of Discovery and the Inland Maritime Museum as well as explore the Riverfront Park and walking trail. We had a wonderful time."
