"Was beautiful out there. Especially at night with all the lights off. The host informed us on the way out that the river was really low. Was kinda bummed. But when we got there it had plenty of water. We were extremely happy with every thing out there. The kids fished for the first time and all caught perch and so excited. Would definitely stay here again. "

"My wife and I frequent the Texas Hill Country and look for quiet cabins in remote areas. This one was perfect for us. The cabin is well maintained, clean, and lacking in nothing. The location was remote, quiet, and literally on the river. It is hard to access the water because of the steep river bank. There is a large rope provided to stabilize your climb down and back up. "This cabin was bright and fresh looking. One of the cleanest I have been in on my travels through the hill country. We opted for the bedding, towels and extras for additional fee, which was well worth it. I wish I had remembered to bring a couple of camping chairs to set on while watching a movie when it was to cold to hike. The kitchen had all we needed to cook. A short distance trail led to the waterside that looked awesome for swimming. The host was excellent. About 35 miles to Lost Maples...

"We had 6 people for the opening weekend of dove season. There was plenty of room, with a great kitchen area and dining table for our group to gather. It's an easy drive to Uvalde for hunting and golf. A very nice house with everything we needed!!! Nicole was always quick with a reply when we had any questions. Will definitely consider this next time, which will hopefully be soon."

"I don't like saying bad things but the place was not clean. I had to move the couch to sweep up the food, plates, and bugs. I had to also sweep around the windows lots of bugs. The mattress cover on the pull out bed was full of hair and crumbs. I brought my sheets as stated but the previous people must have not done so. Other than that everything else was fine. "This place is just A-MAZING!!! We were a huge party of 26 people with ages ranging between 6-78. Tons of games and activities helped keep everyone busy. There wasn’t a single moment when we felt we could’ve made a better choice with the place. Excellent and beautiful place to stay in Texas hill country. "Since my wife wasn't with me, I was trying to find a place to stay that didn't break the bank. This was the cheapest place in town, so I gave it a shot. BIT WAS I SURPRISED!
