"We loved this place. Great communication from the host ahead of our arrival and some very much appreciated treats waiting for us. This is a lovely place to stay, bit of a shame we were out so much! It was a great base for a weekend at the Mid-Ohio Sportscar Course for the IndyCar race - even for their biggest event it was only about 30 mins in or out. We would definitely stay here again. "

"We stayed here for a weekend lacrosse tournament, and it was such a great find. Way better than cramming our family into a hotel room—this place had all the space and comfort we needed after long days out on the field.The outdoor area was a huge bonus. "If you need quiet, relaxing way to unplug(but still have wi-fi) There isn’t a better place to stay in Ohio than with John in Mount Vernon.Tons of space to unwind. Two great spots to sit outside and see cows mosey through a meadow in close distance and deer comfortable in their natural setting.So visit John, grab some good food to cook in the spacious kitchen and remember to enjoy the simple specialness of life."

"Reeked of Marijuana from other tenants who were very loud. Very drafty and cold with only a window unit heater and a large gap under the door. Had to park in the front yard to get guaranteed in/out with other tenants The company charged an unauthorized charge on my credit card after I requested and declined a quote for a possible extension but DID refund the charge immediately and stayed in great communication with me, answering all emails promptly at all hours of the day."
