"Best part was the wildlife. Accommodation was tired but adequate with some expected items lacking. Needs a big renovation and revamp. No microwave so had to heat my coffee on stove(brought my own pod machine) Oven machine needed lifting out into the bench to connect to the power. No instructions of how to use it.Needs renovation and modernisation."

"The cottage was cosy and comfortable and the hosts were very welcoming and so helpful. The views are stunning and the camellias around the cottage were all out in flower which added to the remainder of the lovely gardens. Overall, a peaceful and serene place to stay for a few days in the countryside close to a small, friendly village."

With a warming fire, ample rooms, separate areas to enjoy the views & a ping pong table we had a great time even when raining. We appreciated the comfy beds and pillows as well as the basics like liquid hand soap and spare loo roll in the bathrooms and dishwasher tablets & spare T-towels in the kitchen. "We had a fantastic stay, nice and cosy in the middle of winter with both wood fire and air con. Everything we needed to cook at home when we felt like it.
