"We had a great time and will definitely option for a return stay. The house fit our group of 23 comfortably. We enjoyed family dinners on the large picnic table and a nightly bonfire. Our kids ranging in age from 3 to 21 enjoyed boating, kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing, swimming, biking, and many other things that the house and area had to offer. "Very clean. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed. Sofa bed couch was uncomfortable. We walked to downtown Mystic. Only half a mile. Vrbo gave us the wrong code for the door lock and I didn't have the email for the host. Fortunately the downstairs guests had the email and we got in."

"We rented the cottage property because it was close to family. Both the kitchen and bathroom has been update- we did not do any cooking during our stay so can’t comment on that area. But we really appreciate the instant hot water in the bathroom. We stayed in the upstairs bedroom which was comfy with lots of closet space and room. "

"We loved this spot! It felt like our home away from home during our time in Mystic. The property is very close to many of the tourist spots as well as downtown Mystic. Shaun was a wonderful host and the place was clean & comfortable. The only thing I would point out is that the bathroom is only accessible through the bedroom. Not a problem for me because I was traveling with my sister so there was no awkwardness going through the bedroom to access it but may be something to consider for some...

"Stayed here for a weekend at Mystic with my parents who are older. Lots of steps from the street so bear in mind. Claude was very kind when I called him with questions and the water and fruit on the kitchen table was a nice touch. Neighborhood is a bit loud from front bedroom but beds were oh so cozy and again, CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN!"

"We all liove the various Connecticut shore towns, and Ild Lyme was delightful. We revisited some favorite spots, and discovered a few new ones. The vintage appliances were particularly nice to find, and looking at old photos, we realized that the original cottage was really 100 years old!"
