"The property is a delight. It’s cosy clean and warm. Not many places offer a view of an ancient castle. Richard shows huge interest in how guests recycle. The compost bin meant all our food waste doesn’t go to land fill. It’s our second time staying in Castle Cottage and would not hesitate to recommend this gem of a place to stay. "

"Great place for accommodations in Tobermory. Property management had clear instructions on how to get in and how to work things in the apartment (eg. Pull out bed) plus lots of information on the island available. It was clean and ideally located on the Main Street with only about an 8 min walk to the buses at the car park. "

"A comfortable cottage in a wonderful temperate rainforest location and near to a community woodland. There are lovely local walks and it's a good base from which to explore Mull. The cottage has been recently redecorated and is very well equipped including with board games for adults and children. There is a good library of books. The twin bedroom is more suitable for children or teenagers as the beds are low and close together which presents some problems for anyone older or with mobility...

"A great central location, with good on road parking. The apartment is comfortable and very well equipped. Some sofa beds can be a nuisance but this one is easy to use and has good instructions. All in all, a good apartment that we would use again!"

"We stayed in ‘The Bothy’ at Artun. Mrs Cameron met us and made us feel welcome. The position of the Bothy was good for us as it was close to the loch and we saw an otter. We enjoyed the peaceful setting. Thank you."

"Incredibly beautiful location, very peaceful!! Views of isle of Mull. And everything you need on site, except it's a bit far from provsions, so prepare by stocking up with groceries, petrol and beverages before you get there. "

"We booked through home and away so was surprised that all communication subsequently came from cottages.com ( who were obviously the property manager) and then discovered that if I had originally booked with them the cottage would have been cheaper- which was annoying . Also disappointed that due to a local land dispute a nearby resident had erected a fence and we were unable to access the Loch near the cottage"

"The indifference of the operator.......we were given an address but house numbers in Tobermoy are erratic thus to give 61 Main Street was hardly why not add 'opposurte the Cafe Fish'? And when we telephoned no one answered. In the flat the first cupboard's handle came off in our hand, the clock did not work for want of a battery and the bathroom light flickered non-stop. Ten minutes work for a caring operator who might also might think to add a (free) map of the island and recommend a...

"Ian's lodge proved to be super quaint in a quiet part of Kilchoan and up a slight hill, with a view of the water in the distance. Secluded surroundings making an evening on the porch ideal and private. Nice over hang making sit outs in the rain ideal and atmospheric. Very close to Kilchoan grocery store which also has a petrol station and with Kilchoan Hotel only a 5 minute walk away. So you have all the amenities on your doorstep. "The Lochaline Hotel is located in the tiny village of Lochaline, which is reached by a rather long drive on a single-track road. Although remote, the hotel rewards a stay with its peacefulness. It is located right on the sound. The ferry runs frequently to Mull and no reservation is needed. Our hosts were warmly welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and had a wonderful view of the sound. The breakfast was excellent and cooked to order."
