"We had a fantastic stay. The bed was comfy, the room was small but functional with all nice high quality amenities. Bathroom was clean and well decorated with a modern look. Breakfast included and it was the best full English I’ve had in years. No skimping on quality. Price on taps for beer was pretty high but it’s a hotel. They always are. Beautiful building and surroundings. I have no hesitation that we will be coming back. "

"Just back from South Lodge and want to say thank you very much to Steve & Tony. We arrived early and the rooms were ready, they were spacious, clean, beds were comfy the decor was lovely. Breakfast was delicious, plenty of and not for the fainthearted. Parking at the property spot on as you dont always have that luxory. Well stocked Tea & Coffee in the room and the homemade cookies were very tasty and a chocolate finished off the welcoming. Toiletries were top quality. Nothing was too much...
