"Each year our kids, their spouses and our 7 grandkids go to Mt. Hood so they can Snowboard and ski . Although we do get together at Christmas time - this trip is the bulk of the gifts we give to them . This year we chose to stay here - and everyone said this was the best place yet ! Good location(though I felt a little close to hey 26 - BUT that can be a plus cause then you don’t have far to drive on snowy back roads . Nice hot tub in a forested setting . We had a great time "

"Very quaint cabin. Well sized for us two adults. Beds comfy and it was plenty warm. Outside temps were lo 30’s. Some sunshine, some drizzle. Didn’t utilize any cooking as we were attending a destination wedding where all meals were provided at another rental location. Wi- Fi was flawless which is extremely important for us with multiple devices each. Very charming place and would return to same if another opportunity presents. Totally recommend!"

"Wonderful stay with access to snow outside the door. Paths to walk on and sledding near by. Home was comfortable. Extra blankets were needed in the night for the kids. Heaters worked but gave off a symphony of knocks and bangs. Kitchen had everything needed for home cooked meals. "

"My family and I stayed 2 nights at the cabin. It was perfect for us. Close to Mt Hood Meadows, night sledding and lovely walks in the woods. A couple of maintenance issues which I’m sure will be resolved for next guest."

"Excellent location to see Mt Hood and River Gorge. Description and photos are accurate. Communication was very good. House was a great value."

"Really cool old cabin that seems to be very much original. A few updates like electricity and heat, and indoor plumbing (unlike my grandma's old cabin). Location is close to everyplace we wanted to go, and features a very short walk to the river and footbridge. Cozy, but not too small. Comfortable beds, plenty of seating. We really enjoyed our stay!"

"This was a family/friends ski trip, celebrating a birthday, and this condo was perfect! We were all very comfortable and enjoyed the decor and layout. It would be a pleasure to stay here again! Thank you!!!!"

"This is a lovely appointed condo in the heart of Government Camp. The homeowner has taken extra care on the furnishings and extra conveniences in the home. We were very comfortable staying here. A few issues with the property mgmt (Vacasa). They stated in their email that if were checking in after 10 p.m. (we were) then we should contact them (we did). They told us it should not be an issue and to disregard the notice. Sure enough, we were not able to access the front door and were stuck outside...

The location is so convenient and walking distance to so much. We always look forward to adding onto our memories and appreciate the affordable price that allows us to stay there and do so."

"The house was better than expected! The king beds were very comfortable It was very hot in the house with no air conditioning and 87 degree temperatures during the day. There were several fans ans cool temps. at night which did help. Less than a 10 minute drivw to Timberline "

"We’ve stayed here before and love this little cabin! It’s so convenient to shops in government camp and a cozy place to come back to after skiing. Unfortunately, there was a power outage in Government Camp coupled with subzero temperatures so we had to cut our stay short, but we look forward to returning next year."

"We arrived with about 4 inches snow all around the property. No snow shovel provided, we had to ask and it came the next day. The steps needed shoveled all around the 3 entrances.The upstairs with 3 beds, is an old attic. It was too cold for the kids. We didnt want to ask for a space heater since asking for more towels was initially met with telling us to refresh them ourselves. The owner thought 1 towel per person per stay was sufficient. We showered after the hot tub, in the morning or after...
