The open, sunlit top floor living space of The Kaleidoscope is charming, spacious & modern. The kitchen features granite countertops, stainless appliances with an island that seats 4 & a dining table for 6. The vivid colors & sunlight envelope you in the tasteful living room with smart TV & basic cable. There are 2 sets of glass double doors that open to a welcoming porch with dining & loungy seating and offers views of our quiet, tree-lined neighborhood. From the porch you can see the beach entrance a block away.
The modern and newly renovated kitchen includes a large gas-stove top, walk-in pantry with plenty of kitchen equipment to throw together some great family meals. We have 2 coffee makers (a drip maker & Keurig) and plenty of seating for your family to socialize.
Around the ship-lapped corner is a laundry closet with a stackable washer/dryer, then down the hall you find 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The 1st bedroom features twin bunks and a cubby with kids’ books! Next is the 1st bathroom with a tub-shower combo & the 2nd QUEEN bedroom. The Master Suite has a QUEEN bed and a spacious, light-filled bathroom with a walk-in shower & double vanity. All bedrooms have smart TVs.
Wait! Did we forget to mention The Kaleidoscope has a roof-top deck?! Yes, it does! Great views of the Atlantic Ocean & colorful rocking chairs, this is the spot for cocktails and stargazing. There are also 2 lounge chairs if you have sunbathers in the group and the roof top has beautiful ocean views!
Outside, behind the entry staircase are beach chairs & a beach cart for your use. We ask that you return all in good working condition. The “garage” area is for the downstairs guests only. But ALL guests are welcome to use the outdoor shower, which is right next to the stairs. We want you to rinse & dry off before you come inside, please.
This home is quaint while spacious with personality to spare! The beach entrance is just ONE short block (you can see in photos) at the entrance of Historic Fort Screven. The neighborhood is quiet but only a few blocks from the main street/Butler Avenue so easy to navigate the island on foot, bike or golfcart! Also, our favorite ice cream shop, The Sundae Café is around the corner & walking distance!
If you enter into the old “Fort Screven” area there is the Jaycee Park with running paths, ponds & a large shades playground for the kiddos. This home is located mid-island just 2 blocks off Butler/Hwy 80 so this is GREAT area that gives you easy, walkable access to so many of the main attractions.
Once your group reserves this home, you will receive emails from our booking software called ESCAPIA. Please check your spam/junk folders for emails from LUXURY LIVING SAVANNAH and/or Escapia.
OCCUPANCY: Maximum of 6 people at all times, including infants & children. No exceptions.
MINIMUM age to reserve is 25 years old. No exceptions.
NO PETS. NO SMOKING/VAPING.
PARKING: MAX 2 vehicles allowed & parked on LEFT driveway. No trailers or RVs. Vehicles must be parked in driveway, not on grass.
NOISE: This property is NOT PARTY friendly. We do not allow loud noise, loud music, public drunkenness, or parties of any sort.
NO BACHELORETTE/BACHELOR GROUPS! Be thoughtful of the downstairs guests by walking/talking in low volumes.
Cancellations:
If you reserve & cancel AFTER we have processed the reservation, we will NOT refund the credit card processing fee. We use a 3rd party credit card processing company & they do NOT refund these fees to us if a guest cancels.
You will also be charged a $50 cancellation fee PLUS the credit card processing fee.
