The Trolley's long and lean frame now serves as the captivating centerpiece for the living and dining area, providing an unforgettable ambiance. Trolley Time
We absolutely loved the cozy trolley. It was clean and decorated so cute. We had everything we needed. Close to the beach which was wonderful. Quiet. The weather could have cooperated a little (rainy) but we had a wonderful visit. Saw places in Savannah and Charleston. I would recommend the Tybee Trolley to anyone looking for that special place to visit.

The Trolly House
This was a great location for the beach and town areas. We really enjoyed the time spent on the beach which was a short walk over the dunes. The beach was not busy and enjoyed the long walks during the day and night.

Problems getting in
The Trolley was a very unique place, but the outside area was not very clean & the grill was broken and could not use. We also could not open the lock to get the key out to open the door. There needs to be instructions on how to open the lock as we had to have someone come & open it for us. We waited over an hour to get in. We also didn't realize that we had no view of the water while using the porch due to the dunes. Something I will consider in future bookings. Also, the beach umbrella was broken & needs to be replaced. Overall, it was a unique experience.

Nothing Else Like It
My wife and I enjoyed a five-day getaway at the Tybee Trolley in mid-June. We were looking for a unique, relaxing experience for our first visit to Tybee Island; this property was just right. The Tybee Trolley is quaint (even a little quirky, as you might expect) but very comfortable and well maintained. As one might expect from the property listing, this is more of an unpretentious beach cabin than a luxury property. But it has everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. We liked the location: on a relatively quiet stretch of the island, yet still within walking distance of both south beach/Tybrisa Street (about a mile away) and the north beach area (less than a mile away). We especially enjoyed time on the deck, right in front of the dunes. When the wind was a little too strong for deck time, it was easy to retreat into the porch area or the living area, without losing any of the gorgeous view. The kitchen was well equipped, and the air conditioning, plumbing, appliances, etc., all worked well, with one minor exception. We ran a load of laundry midway through the week and found that the dryer wasn't producing enough warm air to dry the clothes. In all, we had a great time. The Tybee Trolley was an excellent choice for us.

The bad experience
This property is very cute and snug! The cleanliness of this property was terrible. The first night we had to have them come out and clean the bathroom as it has not been clean. No pillow cases on the pillows. Most of the doors on the property interior you could barely get open(it took an act of congress to do so) *EXTREME FIRE HAZARD* and the sun room floor fell in while we stayed there. Oh and there was broken windows being held together by tape. During the stay the company was very responsive with our concerns and was prompt to fix what they could but after you check out they did not want to help you resolve any issues/compensate for your troubles. Very disappointed with the stay especially for the price paid. They wouldn’t even compensate the cleaning cost of the property very disappointed! Will never stay with Tybee Cottages/ Lucky Savannah again!

Charming Beach Property
The cottage is unique with the 'street car' being a wonderful element. The beds were very nice, everything was clean and in order. There is a roach problem but can tell its being worked. The kitchen is well stocked.

Great stay with lots of charm
Though it's small, with few frills, the beds were comfortable, the neighborhood was quiet, and it had everything we needed. And it was cool to walk around inside the old trolley. Being right on the beach was so convenient. The beach wasn't over crowded at all and everybody is so friendly. I would stay here again!

What a wonderful trolley beach house- we had a great, peaceful beach weekend and will definitely stay here again. It’s vintage, different and comfortable- on a private part of the beach & we all really enjoyed! For a mom & her two grown daughters it was perfect.

Super cute vacation rental
This was perfect for us. Two adults and two kids. The ambiance of this little house was wonderful. Loved all the little details of the trolley in the house. Access to the beach was easy and close. A little hard to find the house when we first arrived but didn’t mind it being hidden during our stay. I would definitely recommend to family and friends!!!

Quaint and charming
This is not a new, sterile property. But rather a quaint house built around an old trolley car. We loved it because we like to stay places that have "heart". Even my gr. grand 12 year old loved the place. We had everything we needed space wise and beach wise. Had a table outside get blown over and broken, but the management people were very responsive in getting all the glass cleaned up. Would definitely stay here again.

Soothing
This property was great. I wouldn't do a big group here but a small family of four or five, mother daughter/s would be perfect. I went with my mom and my sister and had a fantastic time. Loved that it was right off the beach and pretty quiet when I went. The only thing I would have to say I didn't like was the showers, not to much room to move, mostly turn around in. Overall, for my trip it was pretty perfect and very soothing.
