"The property is amazing. Beds are extremely comfortable. We saw the northern lights 4 different nights. The family all enjoyed the hot tub. There were single digit and below zero temps are entire stay but the hot tub still got plenty of use as well as the fire pit. "Trudy was such a a wonderful host! Gave us tips to see the Aurora and was super communicative. The place had everything we needed. Not fancy, but comfy and fantastic location for the price! "We booked the BirchHill retreat for three nights. The house is cozy and spacious and the host had most of the supplies including spices and other ingredients already. We had access to the garage and it was big enough for two standard SUVs. We could see the northern lights from the front and backyard of the house which was a plus! "We had an amazing time at this wonderful property. The cabin fit two adult couples very well and we had everything we needed. The hosts were very responsive throughout. Then beyond the beautiful space, we had the BEST time meeting the sled dogs and learning all about life in the area. We would absolutely stay again!"

"This property is half way between Fairbanks and North Pole. It is quiet and easy to get in and out of. It took us about 15 minutes to get to the shopping area in Fairbanks, but we were out and about every day anyway. We felt like this was a nice property for us. There were a few things we would have liked that were missing in the kitchen and the water pressure in the shower wasn’t great, but we were very comfortable there."
