"Good gathering areas for large family such outside deck, dining table and fire pit. Great to have kayaks and a canoe. Amazing place for large dogs! Heating and cooling was a challenge. The basement is much too cold."

"Cabin was extremely clean. Had everything you would want at your fingertips. Loved the compact kitchen with all the utensils needed to prepare meals. The bathroom shower had good water pressure & plenty of hot water. Cabin bed was very comfortable & plenty of blankets. Only small disappointment the kindling wood to use in the firepit was too wet to start a fire. Maybe an outside box to cover the wood to keep it dry would help."

"Interior was smaller and more cramped than what pictures showed but that’s what cameras do. Vacuuming was not done on it in a little bit. But it was pet friendly and it’s kind of like a cabin that you would get at a camp ground. My dog enjoyed the river and we enjoyed using the fire pit. Bathroom needs to be remodeled but it does look like remodeling is going in stages. But all that matters for us was we had a good time and was able to bring our dog. "Staying at Camp Twosome was magical. We had the most colorful fall foliage on the drive up. Then we enter the cabin and the visuals and sounds of leaves falling from the window was so relaxing. It reminded me of youtube videos i watch at home to calm my anxiety. "The property was in a word: lovely. You can tell a lot of work went into renovating this place. My friend and I absolutely loved just chilling on the front porch each night. We meant to have a fire in the back, but we never got around to it. There was plenty of wood provided though, which was fantastic, as you can't bring firewood from out of state. "The hosts of this place were extremely nice and helpful. They replied very fast to all messages and made sure we had the best experience. The place itself was amazing with all of the backyard space and heated pool! We had a blast playing volleyball, swimming and at night, going in the hot tub. I will definitely be booking again!"

"This was the perfect vacation spot for our 3 teenage grandchildren. They loved it. They thoroughly enjoyed the freedom of walking along the hiking paths or going to the river and just hanging out. When I asked them what their favorite part of our 2 week vacation was they all said Hermanus! And the grandparents agreed. It was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy nature."

"This home is so beautiful and it was the right place for our family getaway. Very clean and you feel at home as soon as you walked in the door. Kitchen was large and stocked with everything you would need and more. Lots of games and the pool table,ping pong table and foosball, was Soo fun. The owner Joyce was very good at communicating when we had any questions. We made some wonderful family memories. Would definitely stay again."

"My husband and I enjoyed the cottage, location and surroundings immensely. The pond was warm and inviting and the couple of neighbors we ran into were very friendly. Took the canoe around the pond and did a little fishing as well. The cottage has great hot water too. "Condo was great but they didn't allow dogs despite what the title says, not dog friendly. House was nice size for the two of us. Bedroom is upstairs with king sized bed that was very hard to get out of!! The bed frame sits on the floor so each morning was a struggle to get up and out of the bed. Bed was comfortable and slept well but hard for senior citizens to get out of."

"What an amazing place to stay, was pleasantly surprised at how much the home had to offer with the upper and lower level there was plenty of room for the family to move about and not be on top of each other. The pool was amazing too, the property owners were great and very efficient the one time we had a question they were right there to help us out. Definitely a place we will come back to next year.
