"This location was so beautiful and was perfect for our kids (ages 6 and 9). We enjoyed hearing the stream and the fire, laying in the hammocks, exploring the creek, and watching the horses. The hosts were very attentive. We will definitely stay here again if we get the chance."

"Amazing views and the place is as decribed. We enjoyed the location and views very much. Cozy tiny home with beautiful town and privacy, great for bringing a dog. Loved the amount of technology and what was provided. For future bookers, just know that the bathroom situation is definitely rough, which they did warn us of. The little elves Cottage was a perfect place for us to not only enjoy the town of Sparta, but also have a comfortable and cozy visit with each other. "Everything was exactly as advertised - clean, cozy, and fully stocked with everything you need for a nice break from the grind. The cabin was idyllic and in a peaceful, quiet area (while being close enough to town that you can easily pick up anything you want that isn’t provided). The area does have poor mobile/cell service but in my opinion, that’s an upside. Host does offer free wifi so if you must be connected, that’s an option. Highly recommend. "

"My wife and I celebrated our anniversary weekend here, and the cabin was everything we hoped for. Very secluded and private, with all the amenities needed on site. We took full advantage of the gun range, the hot tub, and the nature surrounding the cabin. The owners are extremely hospitable and very accommodating. We hope to come back someday."

"The accommodations were very comfortable and we enjoyed sitting on the patio listening to the river. We were disappointed with the menu selection in the dining room hoping for more dinner entrees. But for lunch it was fine. We drove into Elkin and purchased some groceries and cooked our own meals during our stay. The cabin was very comfortable and the grounds are lovely. "

"We were in the area for a family wedding weekend, and the house was perfect. It gave our family of six plenty of room to hang out, but also have our own space when needed. We spent hours on the foosball and ping-pong tables with our kids, and loved all the activities at the house and around the area.
