"We enjoyed our first time trip to Joshua Tree. The house was clean and comfortable. With the temperatures in the 90’s and 100’s, we were very happy with the air conditioning! The location was very close the park and the hosts provided great recommendations for hikes. I would recommend this place to anyone!"

"Great property just a few minutes from park entrance - clean & organized, spacious & updated, amenities just as listed, easy communication with owner. We had one small glitch which was immediately handled by local property manager. Spaces both inside and out were thoughtfully prepared for a very enjoyable visit. We would definitely return when in the area."

"Armine & Dale were responsive, kind, and professional. There were concerns with the hot tub, garbage disposal, safety of outdoor furniture (wooden Adirondacks are likely not safe to sit on). The kitchen needs a deep clean. There were some other little things. With all of that said, the responsiveness of Armine & Dale, the location near JTNP (our reason for being there), the cleanliness of the bedrooms and bathrooms (which was perfect) would make me say that i would be very willing to come back....

"We recently stayed at this desert rental, and it exceeded all my expectations! The property was beautifully maintained, with stunning views and all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was ideal for exploring nearby attractions and enjoying the tranquility of the desert. The host was incredibly responsive and provided excellent recommendations for local activities and dining. We especially loved the outdoor space for stargazing at night. I can’t recommend this place...

"This was probably one of the best rental stay experiences I’ve had. Ron and Cindy are friendly, obliging, welcoming and hospitable. The property itself is unique and beautiful and so functional! We’ll definitely be back!! "

"This property has all the little details that we enjoy. We do not have pets (which are allowed for an additional fee) but you cannot tell pets have been inside this home. The decoration is pleasing especially if you like the desert and rocks. The outside spaces have native plants and a nice BBQ porch and hot tub. The kitchen is very well equipped. Beds were very comfortable. Great location close to the North Entrance. This was our second stay here. Looking forward to a third. "

"The Hartsville is a unique stay with all the comfort of home but lots of unique character. There is so much to do in the house that you don't need to leave. Beautiful views of the surrounding desert. Everything you need except your clothes and food is there. While I knew it was on a dirt road the only thing I wasn't prepared for was how far done it was but it was easily managed in my car. Communication with the host was easy."

"This home has everything we needed for a 5-day stay to explore Joshua Tree National Park. The patio has a terrific view of the desert and hills in the background. We enjoyed relaxing there to watch the changing shadows on the hills as the sun set. We enjoyed the full moon from the hot tub as well! The owners are very friendly -- communication and check-in were both efficient, and their restaurant suggestion was fantastic! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this home to anyone...

"My cousin and I had stayed here for easy access to Joshua Tree National Park entrance for the meteor shower and it was great. The property manager responses very quickly to resolve any hiccup we faced."

"We really enjoyed our stay! There were 6 of us and we each had our own room and bathroom. The house was really well stocked--plenty of the basics like pots, pans, dishes, but also pleasantly stocked with extras such as spices, cooking oil, and lots of pool towels. We were super relieved to find a bag of ground coffee waiting for us. We had brought whole beans and no grinder, so that worked out perfectly. We would definitely return."

"My wife and I stayed here after the election and it was just what we needed to decompress and re-energize. The property is quite isolated, which is what we were looking for, but close to two entrances to Joshua Tree National Park. The hot tub is great and the decor in the place was charming and welcoming. We absolutely loved it. "

"This is a wonderful place to stay, clean, quiet, close to Joshua Tree National Park. I chose the rental among other choices because it listed washer/dryer on the list of amenities. It turns out there is a cost to use the washer for shorter term stay (booked for 3 nights). It would be nice to know ahead of time before booking. This is my first time booking via VRBO, I learn to ask about cost associated to the use of amenities next time."

"This place is wonderfully isolated and solitary feeling. The amenities are so carefully considered and detailed. It feels just casual and lived in enough that you can tell the owners are stay here regularly. The style is perfectly curated and feels just right for the place (the opinion of two professional designers who stayed together.) There's none of the "weird bits" that you typically get in vacation rentals, everything is just so crisp and well thought out. Highly recommend for a little...

"Room had microwave and refrigerator and coffeemaker, all of which were a plus. The Mexican restaurant in the hotel was good. Also, there is a grocery store immediately next door (walkable). Bedside lighting in the room was very good. Price was reasonable for the area. Very convenient to Joshua Tree National Park entrance. A special shout out to the front desk worker who very pleasantly, quickly and efficiently fixed a problem with our room service. "

"Hotel com boas instalações, bem confortável, limpo e ótima localização. Fomos bem atendidos no check in. Tivemos apenas um problema com a televisão que não funcionou. Oferece estacionamento porém é pago a parte, poderia estar incluso na diária. O café da manhã poderia ser melhor, com mais opções.mas ainda assim é uma ótima opção para quem visita o Parque Joshua Tree."

"Um pequeno problema na entrada pois me cobraram uma taxa extra de 20 dólares por conta da idade do meu filho. Segundo o hotel, só aceitam sem taxa crianças até 6 anos. Isso não esteve explícito no ato da reserva e acabou me incomodando. Paguei contrariado mas obtive o reembolso por parte do site. De resto, é um hotel sem muitos atrativos e suficiente para uma noite. Mas em outra oportunidade procurarei algo mais confortável e perto da cidade."
