"Wonderful stone converted coach house, very cosy, helpful owner, lots of bits and bobs in the cupboards, everything thought of, good sized rooms too… great facilities and a huge amount of logs and kindling supplied for the wood burner. Heating system worked brilliantly when we needed it as we were snowed in last two days. The perfect place to walk from direct, We found wonderful walks from our doorstep. Very peaceful and quiet setting. Highly recommended - thanks Nigel!"

"Amazing well equipped spacious chapel. I actually got lost in it when I first entered. We were 6 couples enjoying a birthday celebration and it exceeded all our expectations. Beautiful furnishings with attention to detail. Fully equipped kitchen with a spare kitchen if needed (which you don’t) Heating system worked very well, considering the size of the property too. James was very prompt with a query. A pub and walks on your doorstep everything you could possibly need. Can’t wait to revisit. "

"Liked privacy, quiet, clean, list of places to eat, Nigel was very helpful with our difficult overseas payment. Being from rural area it was difficult understanding security but destails were very good, just our lack of ability. I did get locked in bathroom at 3 a.m. as when I tried to get out as the lock fell out of the door handle. We were very pleased with the little extras that the owners have available like tea & coffee. 40 mins from Alton Towers was very handy with a Tesco enroute so we could get any bits we needed. "The quality of the property, particularly the downstairs bedrooms and bathrooms, is a bit shabby - feels more like a 'Home of Multiple Occupancy' than a holiday cottage. The big living space is great, though, ideal for the ten adults and 2 children in our group. The kitchen needs some TLC - the equipment is old and some of it not very good (the can opener doesn't work, the cafetiere leaks coffee grounds into your mug, one of the kettles is a bit ropey) but the mezzanine style works well in terms...
