"The house & cottage were fantastic!! Location on Lake Norman was ideal, the bedrooms/bathrooms worked out perfectly, beds are super comfy (top notch comforters & sheets), fishing on dock was fun, kayaks/canoe/paddleboat got plenty of use, lots of decks and outdoor seating areas, house is very spacious, two big screen TVs, a nice game room, kitchen well equipped, and owners are very rrsponsive. No complaints. Definitely a 10 star rating."

"My family and I had a great time at this nice lake front property celebrating my father in-law's 70th birthday! The house was clean and well equipment. We really like having the 2 full kitchens. The easy and private access to the lake really made it special. Jeremy the owner/property manager was very responsive and good to work with. I highly recommend!"

"This property will get you away from the city life. Very quaint/quiet location off a somewhat main road. Property owners are very nice & close by if you need them. We get farm raised eggs back home & really appreciated having them. Thank you for letting us stay, we enjoyed the area & would definitely recommend it."

"Very accommodating host who helped secure a last minute, 2 night stay. Very rustic decor with comfortable seating, Plenty of parking. Only 4* for location as the cabin is In a rural area about 5 minutes to highway and 25 minutes to Lake Norman. This was fine for us a would be fine for anyone looking for someplace off the beaten path Very user friendly yard with patio out back and porch with swing in front. A great value for us versus a hotel room. "

"The floors werent as clean and there was some dust bunnies. The road outside was noisy even during the night. Having a daybed in the living room isn't comfortable sitting. Everything else okay. Weve stayed in many vrbos so our opinion is weighted by others. Great host, though."

"Was looking for a location around Statesville as my spouse had a job to do. I was going to join him and relax. The booking process was very easy. The property is pet. Friendly, host was extremely responsive to any question I had, the house was lovely and in stock with everything you needed except your clothes and food. The yard is fenced in and pet friendly, the master bedroom bed was so comfy. Will definitely book again. "

"Our stay was fine, and the staff were friendly and courteous. There was a strong smell from cleaning products when we entered the room; we assume this is because the hotel is pet-friendly. It wasn't unbearable by any means but it didn't have the same "clean room feeling" we're used to in other hotels. The pool was closed for the winter so we can't rate that, but our stay was pleasant and we felt safe traveling with kids. We were pleasantly surprised to be able to a walkable fast-food option...
