"This clean, modern, well stocked home was located directly on Lake Huron with a beautiful sandy beach leading into the lake. "The pictures are very accurate. We had a friendly Peacock stay on the porch overnight with us. The owner told us he is a friendly neighborhood Peacock that stays at different places along the shore. The property is a duplex and the other side was occupied during our stay. The views on the lake, even while frozen, were amazing. The house faces west so you will be treated to amazing sunsets."

"We loved our stay! The location was perfect if you want to be downtown. There were many amenities that a lot of VRBOs don't include. The coffee bar was a huge feature for us, as was the large dining table we could all gather around. My checklist included a fireplace and a loft. My kids love traveling with a loft. The beds were incredibly comfortable, too!!"

"My husband and I visited on 8/28-9/2/2024. Pete and family were so welcoming and kind. They were up for the Labor Day weekend next door.The home has 3 bedrooms top floor, (King, double and bunk room w/ 2 double bottom bunk beds w/single top beds), 1 bath (with bathtub, shower, double sinks), living room w/ large smart tv, (this is the1 steaming tv in home), full kitchen, table for 4, washer/dryer on main floor. "Cabin was nice clean and comfortable for us and our two dogs. The view from the private dock there is an amazing was amazing. Just one thing for those who have dogs who love the water like ours. There is no access to the water on the property, however, the state park is two miles away and there is an amazing dog beach there!"

"My sister in law and myself got away for a few days. I lost my husband (her brother) a few months ago and wanted serenity and peace...and we got it. Beautiful, newly renovated, clean, quiet, special details, beds are comfortable and love the sheets! Town is close by and lots of places to take picnics. The owners put love into this cottage. "
