"As others have said layout is a bit weird because of additions, but it works. Location is very handy. Place was well stocked with necessities. It’s right on the street so you’ll hear traffic noise and kids going to and coming from school. But it adds to the character of the home. "The cottage was as expected. It was quaint and quiet. The scenery was beautiful. Mike met us at the property and went through everything we needed to know. He followed up later to make sure we didn’t need anything. He was quick to return our call when we had a question. The beds were comfortable and the house had everything we needed. "Just 50km from Galway and in the countryside, this home was a wonderful base for explorations from Connemara down to Limerick. We could have fared further but for lack of time. The home is quite charming, Brid gave us excellent recommendations for nearby eateries and had stocked the home with information useful to tourists.
