"Great cottage for a small family (or couple) get away. Close to McCaysville for convenient food and beautiful river walk park for the kids. Nice supply of family friendly games and young kids toys, which was beneficial. Very comfortable beds and the front porch was a good place to take in the sunrises. House was stocked with pretty much everything we needed to cook or meals. If you want a quiet and extremely clean place to stay, this is for you! "

"The location was great. No issues with parking and the owner is very friendly and makes sure to inform you if you are unsure of anything. Very good price. Great shower head an outstanding water pressure. Can't recommend enough! Only bad part is that I was not able to go rafting but that was my own fault. Thank you Trevor!"

"This place is exactly what me and my cousins were looking for for a fun girls weekend! Ms. Vicki was so hospitable and sweet. She made us feel right at home and like family! The property is so secluded and fun to explore. There are so many cool things to find in the creek and the woods. It felt like a beautiful mountain oasis. It is just a short drive to all the shops in copper hill as well! We also loved being able to cook with everything that was provided and having a nice campsite breakfast...

"The keys were not left out like they were supposed to be. Another group in a different cabin also did not have a key left out for them. Thankfully, a door was left unlocked so that we could get in (which is horribly unsafe). I tried to contact the host about the keys and never got a response. It was pretty bad all around. Wish I could get my money back. "

"We absolutely enjoyed our stay, and everything about this property. This was our first family getaway trip in the mountains, especially in a cabin, and this beyond exceeded our expectations. "This beautiful, cozy cabin was perfect for our stay. Lovely location in front of a stream (you can see rainbow trout swimming), The only sounds are those of the stream's running water over the rocks below the cabin's balcony. If you are looking for peace and quiet then this will fit the bill, but you may need a 4WD vehicle to get to it! Note: there is no wi-fi, cell service, washer/drier or dishwasher. If you "need" those, look elsewhere. For us it was perfect."

"What’s not to like? This is a great property for some nature connection that I needed. The owner was very nice and helpful as I had never visited this area. The property is clean and well kept. I basically fished for several hours in the morning/early afternoon on the Hiwassee River and then sat on the front porch and watch deer and other wildlife on the property. "
