This property near Tucson Mountain Park was a brilliant choice for us. Our party of 10 family members were able to congregate, for a special function, in one place, rather than trying to navigate hotel rooms in the same area, and meet-ups over the span of six days. Marina met us on our first day and was a delight, as well as very accommodating with our questions, requests, and comments over the week. This, along with the well-appointed kitchen, closets, and bedrooms, set the tone for us to be able to relax and enjoy our family’s rare company, rather than having to seek out necessities in town. We definitely enjoyed lounging in and around the pool. The shade provided by the beautiful landscaping, as well as the house, in the mornings and evenings, made it possible to swim without the July sun being too merciless. The a/c and fans inside the house got a workout, but were up to the task of keeping everyone comfortable. Seeing as most of us came from OR, MN, and CO, this was paramount. Where the property truly shone was in its placement in the Sonoran Desert landscape. The wildlife is spectacular. It's always a bit nerve-wracking to pick a rental that will make everyone happy, especially without a personal recommendation, but this gem was a lucky find that ticked all the boxes for us. Close enough to groceries, the University, museums…but far enough away from the crowded neighborhoods to make you feel like you are truly getting away from it all.
