Best Nest for Relaxing, Swimming & Birding

Pet-friendly! These townhouses are not identical. Ours is bright and comfortable with high ceilings, excellent amenities, new furniture and hotel-grade 100% cotton linens and towels.

Swim in the community saltwater pool, use the hot tub, relax in the walled private patio. Indoor gas fireplace for chilly evenings. Free on-site parking, covered and open.

Free wi-fi and a desk nook for remote work.

Walk to the de Anza Trail, the pool/hot tub and the art town of Tubac.

I'm available on the Airbnb platform, by text or phone. My housekeeper and I can respond to your needs.

The entire townhouse, private walled patio, and sky deck are dedicated to guests. While the entire house is on the ground floor, there are stairs up to the sky deck.

The saltwater pool, hot tub, and fitness center are for the community and are available to guests.

Relax in our pet-friendly home! Sunny 1 bedroom 1.5 bath home with private walled patio, sky deck and onsite parking. All except the sky-deck are on the ground level. The pool and hot tub are open and heated year-round.

High ceilings, great natural light, separate desk nook and upgraded appliances and finishes. We've added hotel-grade linens and towels and a fully equipped kitchen. New for 2024 - a Bose sound bar that connects to your devices.

Walk to the pool, hot tub, fitness center and the de Anza Trail.

Walk, bike or drive to Tubac.

Tucson is a 40 minute drive.

Pet Owners:

DO NOT ALLOW PETS ON THE FURNITURE OR BED.
Leave them alone only while in a crate.
Pick up all pet waste and put the bags in the trash.

NOTE ABOUT EXCESS PET HAIR: If you allow pets on the couch and bed and my housekeeper has to remove excess hair, we will charge an additional $30 cleaning fee. Please help us keep the house clean for other guests by keeping your pets off of the furniture.

POOL TOWELS:
Use the yellow/orange towels from the bathroom at the pool and hot tub.

Towels are not available at the pool. There are restrooms and an outdoor shower.

TRIP INSURANCE
A friendly recommendation: please purchase trip insurance!

If you are unable to travel at the last minute, the booking platforms will not return your fees. Please do not ask me to take on the financial burden of your misfortune. Buy trip insurance!

Inside comfort, outside not so much.
The townhome was comfortable and well-equipped. We were very disappointed in the outdoor furniture, however. Since our priority for going to Tubac in February was to enjoy the warm weather, it would have been nice to have comfortable and nice places to sit and/or recline outside. The chairs around the table in the courtyard were serviceable, but not comfortable for more than a short time. The chairs upstairs on the deck were in bad shape, and there were no ottomans or any place to put your feet up. We also needed a table for food and drinks. The only small table up there had a worn woven top that was not sturdy enough to hold glasses safely.

Great place in Tubac
Cute rental in Tubac. Perfect for a couple. We stayed 2 nights and found it very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and the bed was comfortable. It has a lovely patio and sky deck but it was pretty chilly to sit outside in the evening. Easy walk or drive into Tubac. Highly recommend staying here and would definitely stay again!

What a gem!
So glad we found this little gem in Tubac, AZ. This condo has everything - a full kitchen, a washer & dryer, a smart TV to watch just about anything you want, a super comfy bed, and don't forget the delightful rooftop balcony to enjoy a drink and gaze at the stars. Even the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash smells amazing! And it's quiet - which we really appreciate. This location provides easy access to the town center, as well as being walking minutes away from the De Anza Trail. And what a beautiful trail it is! A great place to "get lost in nature," yet, not get lost. Jan is amazing and we communicated throughout the stay - she's wonderful at providing tips for dining, birding, or anything else you may want to know about the area. We had such a lovely time visiting and will definitely return to Best Nest!

Best Nest in Tubac
This was our first visit to Tubac and our first Vrbo rental. We were extremely pleased with our experience. Jan’s communication was exceptional. Her home was wonderful, as pictured and as described. My wife and I spent two nights and it was a perfect getaway spot that was quiet and clean. Tubac is a lovely little community and I highly recommend staying at Jan’s little nest. Thanks Jan!

Tubac is awesome
Great house for a couple people! Kitchen was adequately stocked with utensils and the house was very clean upon arrival. The sky deck is a great place to cap off your day and have some tea before bed. The community is very nice and welcoming with hiking near by.

Simply the Best Nest
We were thrilled with the property and location and had a lovely stay there. The place was spotlessly clean and pleasingly decorated. It also felt very comfortable and safe. We walked our little dog at various times and neighbors all were very friendly. The upstairs veranda is especially nice in the evening for sunset or moon and a glass of wine! It is easy to access the cute little town, wonderful historical locations, and various restaurants and cultural locations. The space has good energy. Thank you for sharing it with us and for excellent communication.

Loved the outdoor spaces and walkability
We especially liked the rooftop space and the enclosed patio area. We were able to see a great view of the western sky, including the planet Mercury low in the sky right at sunset. Dark skies matter to us, so the location was perfect. I loved being able to easily walk to Tubac and to have access to the de Anza Trail. The saltwater pool felt fantastic after hiking. There is a lap lane for swimmers. The home had everything we needed, very quiet and relaxing.

Cute Place and great location!
My husband and I enjoyed our stay in this lovely townhome in Tubac! We were so grateful to be allowed to have our dogs with us as well! This townhome community is quite a gem in Tubac! It was walking distance to town and we were able to enjoy the art festival. There was plenty of room for us to bring our wire crates for our dogs to keep them comfy and safe when we left the home and lots of space to walk them in the neighborhood. The host was very responsive and easy to connect with. She offered delicious whole bean coffee and even provides some head lamps for dark evening walks. The bed was comfy to sleep in and everything was as pictured in the photos. We did not have time to take advantage of the beautiful heated pool and spa! There is also a BBQ area and gym to use! We would definitely recommend this place to stay for a visit in Tubac!
