"We had an excellent stay and really enjoyed interacting with Margaret. She was very polite and attentive. If you are looking for a peaceful getaway, I highly recommend this location. Its just a quick drive to the local shops, there is an amazing park with a castle in Portumna, and we were able to visit neighboring towns with ease. I was very impressed with the information Margaret provided. She was kind enough to print out a packet that contains everything you need to know during your stay....

"Just 50km from Galway and in the countryside, this home was a wonderful base for explorations from Connemara down to Limerick. We could have fared further but for lack of time. The home is quite charming, Brid gave us excellent recommendations for nearby eateries and had stocked the home with information useful to tourists. I would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone who is considering a visit while the home is available. "

"We stayed here for 6 days and it was wonderful. The cottage is super cozy and has everything you need. The communication with Steph was perfect all the time and she was always helpful. The cottage is a bit far off in the nature so you'd definitely want to have a car for your stay. "We needed a place that was fairly close to Limerick, the Burren and within walking distance of the shops and cafes. This house fitted our needs. Communication with the owner was good and instructions for entry and operation of the backdoor lock were clear. "The house was lovely, clean, well furnished (in a way that makes you feel like you’re visiting somewhere special), and spacious. We loved waking up in the morning to the spectacular views and returning home after sight seeing to a company friendly kitchen and comfortable living room. The hosts who passed off the keys were an added treat: gave us the inside scoop to get away from more touristy attractions to more local ones, and made us feel like we were friends."

"Lovely stay at the Limerick Strand. The room was huge! The bed was very comfortable. It would be ideal for working from, as there is a large desk. There is is a desk infront of a mirror for doing makeup, too - does not always happen in hotels! Huge selection at the breakfast buffet - only one small change there - better sausages :) Added bonus - the pool, sauna and jacuzzi! Would definitley stay there again if in Limerick!"
