SNOW CLEARING IN THE WINTER
Our plow service clears 3 parking spots, 1 on the diagonal to the left and 2 in tandem.

There's a keypad lock-entry on the front door, so you don't have to fuss with a key when you're going in and out.

CUTE NEIGHBORHOOD
Half residential, half vacation homes. Quiet street. Great for a little kid to bike ride or skateboard up and down.
HIKING
For starters, at the end of Thomas, the fire road goes up to miles of hiking in the woods between our neighborhood and Tahoe Donner.
Pacific Crest Trail (PCT). Donner Rim Trail. Truckee Legacy river trail.
WATER
Donner Lake State Park with it's channels, beaches and public docks. Big Blue, i.e., Lake Tahoe – Need I say more?
OTHER RECREATION
The community pool (at the high school a mile away) is open year-round for lap swim and the community center has a gym with a running track for workouts - just a $5 drop-in fee.
Lots of places to buy and rent gear. Skiing. Snowboarding. Snowshoing. Skating. Road biking. Mountain biking. Paddleboarding. Kayaking. Angling. Fly-fishing.
There's a fun-run, lake swim, triathlon, paddleboard race, car show or other fun event just about every weekend in the summer.
DOGS
Dogs roam free in the mountains, but they're all pretty friendly and used to the outdoors, people and cars. We keep our little guy on a leash, because he's a city dog.

Great restaurants. Old town Truckee is minutes away.
