"Very nice house, aweson lake views. Only issue was that we paid for cleaning, and walked in and found nothing cleaned, washed...there was sand everywhere. We cleaned it ourselves, did all the bedding, towels, dishes and washed the floor. The next day we thought we were being broken into, turned out ot was the cleaning lady, arriving at 2pm a day late. Not cool to charge for zero service. Really want my cleaning fee refunded. Im guessing just a scheduling mistake, but I hate it when other...

"This was a perfect place for me, my son, his wife and their two children, ages 7 and 10, to get away together for a few days after Christmas. Despite having to change our outdoor plans somewhat due to rather lousy rainy weather, there were games to play and puzzles to put together and a well stocked kitchen where we made our meals together. And we still worked in several nearby, beautiful outdoor hikes, even if it was slushy. We enjoyed every minute."

"This is the prefect place for our group of 4. Additional cots and lots of room allow for even more people. New for this year is a full-size fridge and very nice Keurig full pot or single coffee maker. I believe this was our sixth year staying at one of Vern's properties and, as always, we were fully satisfied. "

"We were ten adults and seven children under the age of 12, including an infant. The place is huge, with a lot of space for getting together or spreading out. It has a ton of seating options for eating and board games. The game room was a hit with everyone and is separated enough that the kids could get loud without disturbing anyone on the other side of the house, including the baby. The outdoor options: private playground, large hot tub, firepit, and pier were excellent. The house also sits on...

"Very nice cottage with everything you need for a pleasant stay. The decor makes you feel like you are out in the middle of the country. Must post a disclaimer for snowmobilers: The nearest trail is 3.5 miles away. Only way to get there is by ditch riding (which is legal). However, being unfamiliar with the area, having to cross multiple driveways and a couple bridges, we did not want to chance it with rental sleds. Plus, our rental place was only 10 miles away. Would not stop us from staying...

"A very large house that looks small on the outside. Plenty of space and all the amenities walking distance to Lake Superior and town. One king, two full-sized, and a single bed and playpen. Attached bathroom downstairs is with the full-sized bed. Owner was welcoming and communicated well. Kitchen had everything we needed. Highly recommend."

"The camper was great for just myself and the site was clean and quiet. Host was super helpful with instructions. Really enjoyed the peacefulness."

"We had an amazing stay at Knotty Pine! The cabin is absolutely charming, with a cozy, rustic feel that made it the perfect getaway. It was immaculately clean and well-equipped with everything we needed, from a fully stocked kitchen to comfortable beds. The location was peaceful and picturesque, offering beautiful views and plenty of outdoor space to relax. Communication with the host was seamless, and they provided helpful tips for local attractions. I highly recommend Knotty Pine for anyone...
