"Chris is the consummate host. Met us at the property and showed us where everything was. He had the fires lit and it was cosy and warm on arrival. It’s well appointed with everything you need. Comfortable beds and plenty of room for relaxation. Easy to contact if needed. Thank you for your hospitality. "

"Lovely place to stay for a few days, spacious, clean & comfortable, peaceful surrounds not too far from the main centre of town."

"Property a little further out of town than we thought.Generally very clean however, blinds were dusty.Some printed information about the area and where to eat would have been good to have had on hand in the unit.Overall a good place to stay and communication was excellent."

"The owners were great to deal with; they were amenable when we asked to add an extra teen and dog to our booking, and there was excellent communication throughout.Despite the weather being awful when we visited, the cottage was cosy, comfortable and warm"

"Two sisters on a road trip to Melbourne decided to break the journey in Beechworth and stay at Gladstone House. What a find! Location excellent - just a short stroll into town. The house is very old and because of this, there are a few areas where there are steps into rooms, but it was beautifully presented, spotlessly clean and thoughtfully provisioned.
