"I was unfortunately unable to utilize my reservation to an illness to a member of the party I was going to be visiting during my stay so I had to cancel the trip. I contacted Matthew to notify him that his housekeeping crew would not need to clean the cabin after my presumed stay and he was kind enough to refund the cleaning fee from my rental. It was much appreciated!"

"Husband and i stayed here for a quick weekend getaway following a year of fighting cancer. This small town cabin was cute and clean! Plenty of bars, shopping and restaurants within walking distance. "

"This was a perfect getaway. Near Hayward if you need anything, but still tucked away and secluded with access to trails. Very comfortable and clean."

"We had a lovely and cozy stay! The backyard was just amazing and peaceful...had everything we could want. Only downfall was the mattresses in the bunkroom....very uncomfortable and one of the beds broke. Otherwise, a super place!"

"We enjoyed our stay here. We had 3 couples and plenty of room. We spent our days riding UTVs and then unwinded in the evening at the cabin. "

"Beautiful cabin on a sweet little lake. Very remote. I spent the weekend with just my pup. Great place, decorated perfectly, very clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed. If you need to get way from all the noise of the world, this is your place!"

"This is our second time at Linda and Gary's amazing lake house. Last time we stayed for a few days, this time we stayed for a week, and it was amazing! We got to watch the leaves change, we went out on the paddle boat every day, and overall just had a relaxing time staying in and away from the rest of the world. Linda and Gary are amazing hosts and always easy to communicate with, and we're already looking at our 2025 calendar to plan our next trip. An amazing place to stay!!"

"Our group of 9 friends had the best time at the Cattail Chalet. The space was beautiful, new & very clean. We fit comfortably & had lots a sleeping options. The big windows & view of the lake were spectacular. We saw lots of wildlife, including swans & playful little otter. The welcome binder was filled with thorough instructions for the house & helpful suggestions for the area. Brad was very responsive to all communication. We would definitely rent this space again."

"My husband, two sons (16 and 18) our dog and I spent two nights at this gem. Our sons arrived about a half a hour before we did as we picked up groceries in Hayward (about 20 minutes away). They had already started playing ping pong before we arrived. Once we arrived, the canoe and kayaks were put in the water and were used the rest of our trip. We caught bass, bluegills and northerns and enjoyed the fall colors that surrounded the grounds. The setting is quite private, located at the end of a...

"The cabin was nice, we hoped to fish the lake but after arriving we learned that the lake is drained down 4 feet starting in September (not sure if this is yearly) so we were unable to launch our boat. We did find another lake close by to fish and found some big ones! The cabin had everything we needed to cook meals and kids loved playing with the toys they had."
