Up to 2 guests may stay in this charming, tiny lakeside house. We provide coffee, tea, hot cocoa, oatmeal and snacks; creating a self serve Bed and Breakfast in your private home. The owners are just a few steps away in their own residence and can assist with any questions or needs you may have.
The private deck has a pretty lake view, with woods on one side. A large, reserved paved parking spot is right in front of your house. Recent updates include: flooring, appliances, patio furniture, faucets, shower and couch.
The bedroom has a queen bed with all linens, extra pillows & blankets. We provide bath and hand towels, wash cloths and bath mat. The living/dining area has a large sofa with 2 recliners and a small table with 2 chairs. A complete kitchen and outside grill is available for all of your cooking needs. Smoking is not allowed inside the house. If you need to smoke outside the house, let us know so we can provide a container for your butts, ashes. There is a spacious armoire with 24+ inches of hanging space.
High Lake is a 50 acre lake, perfect for fishing and canoeing. We are only 1.5 miles from Spider Lake boat launch. We are usually able to accommodate guests who bring a small boat, just ask!
You have full access to the dock, and the lake side deck and chairs. 2 kayaks and canoes can be used at any time. Property is shared with the owners (an adult couple) who live in their own house. A window AC unit and two ceiling fans keep the house cool, and there is central gas heat for those occasional cold nights.

Visit Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes, Leland's fish town, Northport, Elberta, Bellaire, Elk Rapids, Torch Lake, Charlevoix, Petoskey.
Enjoy hiking at Brown Bridge (2 minutes away), High Rollaways (Kingsley), Pyramid Point, Keystone, TC Commons. Or just walk down the street to either Killingsworth or Grace McDonald parks. Another option is to cycle down the Vasa or TART trail, or kayak down the Boardman River.
