"What a lovely little guest house within walking distance to York city centre. Danielle was a lovely host who made sure everything was in order for us. The room was comfortable, the breakfast was delicious and the fact that parking is included makes this place good value for money. The only thing worth noting is that the loft room is up 3 sets of stairs (the last one being a little steep) so bear that in mind if you have luggage or if you plan on doing the climb up the York Cathedral Tower tour...

"Lovely place, really friendly and helpful staff. Close to all local amenities and sea front only a five minute walk away. The bathroom was a tad compact but it was clean and did the job. From what I could see it appeared to be the only one in the area that had any parking too which was a huge bonus. The only downside really was the WiFi was a tad slow. Other than that overall cannot fault anything else. Would happily stay again. "

"Stayed here as a break on my way to Scotland. Was made very welcome given the keys a had breakfast times explained. Wi-fi passwords were on the the check in desk. The room I had was a single en suite which had a chest of drawers a small cupboard and a flat screen tv. The bathroom had a shower which towels were supplied. Tea and coffee facilities were supplied. "Excellent - atmosphere, layout, decor. What a lovely place. Staff were extremely welcoming, design of the room was lovely with everything you could need. Even a fan! Only tiny issue was it was a very hot night and the window is very small and therefore it was very difficult to circulate cool air. Breakfast was delicious.
