"Overall the place is wonderful and we enjoyed the amenities. My teenaged boys enjoyed the game room, pool at night, beach, fire pit. I loved the bed, having a kitchenette, and the coffeemaker. Much better than a typical hotel version. I’d caution using suite 10 for more than two people. The sleeper was what you’d expect a sleeper to be - not comfortable! The bed is amazing though. The bathroom could use more hooks for drying beachwear. I think instructions or information in general could be...

"Took my small work team up for our planning sesh and we hunkered down at the cozy Trolls Den and got ‘er done. It was priced great and gave us all we needed. The host staff even shoveled the snow off our porch and under our car!! The greater Beachwalk community is beautiful and idyllic with the fresh snow and bright colored homes - we even bundled up and took a walk down to Lake Michigan and through neighborhood. #greatteammemories!!! "

"This was a 4 day getaway to relax. While there is no water view from the property, a short walk and some steps led us to the perfect semiprivate beach. There were umbrellas, chairs and 2 kayaks available to use. Despite it being mid September, the water was swimmable and the temps were high 80s. We brought our dogs with us and they loved swimming in the water. I can't speak to how busy it is during the peak summertime, but we had the entire stretch to ourselves. Loved that! "We had a total group of 16 (4 separate families) stay and the dining, bedroom, and bathroom spaces were great! Good balance of adequate shared space and separate areas when we needed a little quieter time (or for the teenagers). Only had to reach the house once and Karen responded quickly. Would definitely recommend and are considering a return in the future. "

"The house was clean and quite adequate for our 3 day stay. We met Mr. Marshall when we arrived (he was there with a crew working on furniture and some repairs). He was very pleasant, as was the crew. We like to cook for ourselves. The stove was not completely functional -- shelves do not fit, and the interior needs a good cleaning. The towel rack above the second floor bathroom toilet is pulling of the wall and could use some attention. Rick Ginther (for the Ginther Siblings)"

"WOW! Cannot say enough about this property besides our group will be returning. I came for a weekend away with 12 women and from the moment we arrived, we were welcomed and found everything we could have hoped for and more. The owner met us to show us around the HUGE property and made sure we had what we needed (wifi, thermostats, working the TVs, etc.). He even left a gift of local goodies and gave us great recs on nearby restaurants and hiking trails. After that personal touch, we all...

"Three days after a major storm knocked down trees on the property and all across town, a huge effort was made to get the yard cleaned up and a broken window fixed. The place is stocked with everything you might need. Huge fridge, big bbq grill, more beach chairs than you’d need and a convenient fire pit right out the back door. Incredible view of the lake and sunset. "

"This cottage was a lovely place for a weekend getaway for 3 adult siblings, spouses, and our dogs. The house was very clean and had an open floorplan that was conducive to visiting and playing board games. The kitchen was very thoroughly equipped. While the cottage is clearly geared towards summer rental, it was also lovely in the winter. It was warm and cozy and we loved the easy access to Lake Michigan, which was stunning in the ice and fresh snowfall. The only slight concern for us was that...

"We recently stayed at the Valhalla! The home was exactly has described and was even decorated for Christmas! Any questions we had were promptly answered by Anders. Cozy fireplace and plenty of games for us to use along with a pool table in the basement. We are hoping to visit another time! "

"The front desk was friendly and informative. Hotel lobby was clean and inviting. Rooms were clean and well equipped except for the shampoo and conditioner in the shower was empty. Room had a working microwave and refrigerator. I would stay here again and the price was cheap. Parking was limited , could use more room for a booked hotel."

"O quarto não estava bem limpo quando chegamos, tinha sujeira dentro do armário e o lustre parece que nunca foi limpo, ficamos 5 noites e só foram fazer a limpeza e trocar as toalhas 1 vez, tive que pedir toalhas. O café é bom para o padrão do hotel. "
