Make cherished memories at Castaway Cabins! We provide 3 lockable boat shelters equipped with power for charging batteries, lighting and water. Broyle’s Landing is only 1/4 mile away, Portman Marina is just 2.9 miles away & Green Pond Landing is only 5.2 miles away. If you're a Clemson Tiger fan, Clemson, SC is only 15 miles away! This cozy custom built cabin provides a full refrigerator, sink, microwave, coffee pot, sofa, YouTubeTV, WIFI, 2 full beds in loft area & 2 single beds on bottom floor, full bathroom. Complete outdoor covered kitchen with TV, picnic tables, Blackstone and Pit Boss grills, commercial size sink, fire pit, corn hole game and Tiki Toss game.

This is one of our larger cabins. Our smaller cabin, on the same property, is also listed on VRBO (#1573582). We also have 3 larger cabins within walking distance. All are listed on VRBO (#3280813 #3989517 #4015285)

We are pet friendly and charge a fee of $50 PER PET per stay due to extra cleaning. Pets are not allowed on the furniture and are not allowed to be left unattended in the cabin. The property is partially fenced, therefore you would need to leash your pet.

Great Cabin
Booked this cabin for my son and 3 of his College Fishing teammates. They had a great one night stay for their tournament. My son said the parking was great for their boats. They were able to rig rods under lights and felt safe. The cabin was clean and exactly as described.

Perfect getaway
Our family rented two of the castaway cabins for a weeklong vacation on hartwell lake. Although one of the cabins had an issue prior to our arrival, Deanna was proactive to reach out and let us know and moved us to another cabin just a short walk from the other cabin. We enjoyed cooking outside with the well-equipped outdoor kitchen. It has everything you need. We spent our evenings around the fire pit while the grandkids made s’mores. The onsite boat storage and short commute to the boat ramp was awesome! We will definitely book again!

Great Property for Exploring Lake Hartwell
We spent a week at the property to fish on Lake Hartwell. Property is extremely well setup for fisherman with covered storage with plugin for boat battery charging and good lighting to rig up after a day on the water. Location is great just a short distance to Broyles Boat Ramp located mid-lake and close to Greenpond Landing (for Tournament Fisherman). The Cabin is very comfortable for 4 people with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The outdoor kitchen was great and the owners were very easy to work with and quick to respond to any questions. Great place for Fisherman and really anyone wanting to explore beautiful Lake Hartwell.

Perfect fishing getaway lodge
Castaway Cabins is the perfect location for anyone fishing Lake Hartwell. The cabin, eating/lounging area, and the boat storage sheds were exactly as advertised. You will be on the water within minutes of leaving the cabins. Communication with Deanna was top notch. Will definitely stay here again if I ever decide to fish Lake Hartwell again. thanks, Chad

Everything you need.
The cabin was perfect for tournament anglers and set up for all your needs. Lockable boat storage, and literally 2 minutes to the boat ramp. Owners were incredibly nice and went out of their way to make you feel at home. If we have another tournament on Hartwell we'll definitely be back.

Calling All Fisherman
This is a great setup for any fisherman. Whether you are fishing for fun or participating in a tournament, this is the perfect rental. Plenty of space for parking your boats, along with power and lighting in all 3 spaces. They even provide an extension cord for you to plug into. Being less than 1/2 mile from Broyles, you will not find a better location to stay.

Loved this spot…the fire pit is right there & they have everything you need for the outdoor kitchen! It’s close to the lake so we’re thinking of renting both cabins next time & bringing the boat. Cool place to stay with the cooler weather so you can utilize the outdoor space without it being to hot. Very clean & all you need for a weekend trip!

The place is really compact but nicely done. The heating unit is in the loft, and so is much of the heat. I would hate to be sleeping up there. There’s no range in the house, so you have to use the grill, which is in serious need of repairs. The tv is practically unwatchable except by the person sitting on the end of the sofa. Some small folding chairs to sit in inside might help. Otherwise, the owners have thought of just about everything you might need. Not sure we would stay here again, give the cost versus a good motel room with breakfast provided, but no regrets at all for this trip. BTW, it’s an easy drive to Clemson, even on a game day.
