Firstly, this company has no business advertising on Expedia, what is stated in the property details is not accurate and doesn’t align with what they request after booking. If you are elderly or don’t like dealing with chatbots or strictly remote customer service reps, then don’t consider this place. Don’t consider it either way but especially in that case.
Second, this is the type of property that is contributing to the housing crisis. The company is probably run by some investor bros that are mediocre at best when it comes to investing, hospitality and property management. What you are booking is an apartment within another apartment, so they’ve taken over a floor or maybe just a section of a floor in a condo building.
The building & apartment was shabby. The apartment while mostly clean was shabby, much like the service. The extra linens are stored in a giant, damp, tangled ball in the dryer (you know instead of paying someone to fold and put them away)- an absurd hospitality choice but totally on brand with the rest of the experience. Most light switches aren’t connected to lights and decor looks like they just ran to the dollar store to fill up the space.
No check out instructions are provided in advance, but to put the key in the lockbox. After unnecessary back and forth with a virtual agent, you’ll find that the lockbox is located in the garage, chained to a wall and of course is not labeled as your suite number. Lots of issues not enough characters to elaborate!
