No 4 Wheel Drive needed here - we have year round easy access! We are located 100 yards up a gentle gravel incline off scenic Wayah Road, a paved state maintained road. Our 20’ x 20’ boat dock and viewing deck are less than 1/4 mile away. Bring your boat or rent one here and leave it, along with all of your water toys, at the dock!

Experience total privacy, including no contact self check-in, at the immaculate cabin. We are ensuring the health and well being of each guest by following CDC Guidelines to disinfect and sanitize with an EPA approved cleaner all hard surfaces, door knobs, remote controls, faucets, cabinet pulls and other areas in order to protect against COVID 19. Rest assured, unlike a hotel or resort, this is our personal home and we take pride in our high standard of hygiene for ourselves and our guests.

The seclusion of this mountain retreat with new hot tub and amazing views of Lake Nantahala and the Smoky Mountains makes this home a great spot for gathering friends and family. This log cabin sleeps 8 in luxury bedding: king master bedroom on the main level, 2 queen bedrooms with spectacular views on the lower level, and queen bed in the open loft with breathtaking lake views. This getaway includes a main level open floor plan with great room, stone fireplace with gas logs, handcrafted dining table and airy kitchen. Enjoy the queen loft which looks out two stories of windows to the lake and Smoky Mountains. Have movie night in the second den on the lower level. Both living areas feature flat screen TV’s with DishTV programming as well as the King bedroom. Additional amenities include a new hot tub with spectacular views installed in August 2020, connected gas grill, internet, landline telephone, well stocked kitchen, and laundry room. Relax with coffee or cocktails from the two expansive decks overlooking the lake or sit around the firepit for S'mores and more! Everything is included, just come to relax, enjoy the views and cool weather. Or of course, be as active as you like while white water rafting, hiking and boating in the wonderful outdoors surrounded by the Nantahala National Forest, Appalachian Trail, Bartram Trail, Lake Nantahala and Nantahala River!

Conveniently located just off Wayah Road in Topton, NC, we are easily accessed even in inclement weather. The new pier at Rocky Creek Boat ramp is a short 5 minute walk from the house and is perfect for fishing! With a boat ramp into Lake Nantahala around the corner and boat rentals just down the street, getting on the water is no problem! For the more adventurous, there's an abundance of nearby white water outfitters. The Nantahala River is 15 minutes from the cabin and offers championship fly fishing. We’re 19 miles from The Nantahala Outdoor Center and only 12 miles from their whitewater rafting launch site! This is a great location to use as home base while taking day trips all around Western North Carolina.....the options are truly endless!
