Lil' Piece Of Mine

Lil’ Piece Of Mine” is a new one-bedroom, one bath mountain cabin rental that sleeps four in the Nantahala National Forest in southwestern North Carolina.

Enjoy sunsets, mountain views, and cool breezes from the swing on the covered porch at an elevation of 3500 feet. Go hiking on numerous trails, horseback riding, gem mining, fish in lakes and rivers known for great fly fishing, go rafting, boating, kayaking or enjoy lakefront or river view dining - all activities just minutes away!
The space
There is a queen sleeper sofa in the living room and a wine cooler in the kitchen.
Guest access
You will have access to the entire cabin and surrounding property which includes a firepit and a grill area.

Beautiful and Peaceful
The property is wonderful. The cabin is clean and very well stocked. The bed is super comfortable and the view from the porch is amazing. The only issue we had was with parking on the steep slope...just didn't feel comfortable parking our vehicle at that angle so we went up a little higher and parked on a more level area. Aside from that it was a wonderful stay. The area is absolutely beautiful!

Perfect mini-vacay away from it all!
Great cabin with amazing views! Brought our groceries and didnt leave the whole time we were there. Host was easy to communicate with and the cabin had all the amenities we needed.Will definitely book again!

Another wonderful stay
Sometimes I hesitate to give a review when it is a property so good we know we will be back and Lil Piece of Mine is just that. In fact this was our second stay and we are already planning a fall trip. Wonderful view. Outstandingly furnished with everything needed for your stay even to the smallest detail. It is a bit out of the way but well worth it.

Absolutely Beautiful
This is a beautifully appointed mountain side tiny house with a spectacular view. The furnishings are top notch and the kitchen well stocked with just about anything you could need to prepare a meal, even herbs and spices and an outdoor grill. Forget your toothbrush or paste? There is a starter supply, even a first aid kit. Towels so soft they are a pleasure next to your skin. Comfortable couch, excellent bed and linen. And though a small house it is very open and feels much larger with tons of storage space. Dishwasher, clothes washer and dry. Both with starter supplies as well. I just can’t say enough good things about this listing. The attention to detail is apparent everywhere you turn including the Welcome binder with info for your stay. Location is excellent, between Nantahala Lake and the Gorge so convenient to both with hiking, biking, rafting/kayaking and gorgeous views. We will be back.

Hidden Gem in Topton
Beautiful peaceful property. Easy to follow directions provided. This place is 10/10. Top quality appliances, LED light in sink! Built in furniture, beautiful finishes. Perfect kitchen to cook, I am in love with the oven. Views like no other. Mountain layers easily visible from well thought out porch and swing the size of a twin bed. We put the board games to good use! Wifi, tv subs, everything you need is here. Not far from NOC, but you are not going to want to leave!!!

High end. Best vrbo/short term rental I’ve ever stayed at
In my ~10 years of booking short term stays (like Vrbo, etc) this was hands down the best value, best stay. The interior finishings are high end, the mattress is a Casper queen, even some of the dining chairs are high quality sturdy wood. Most other places are clearly finished haphazardly with obvious cut corners and the cheapest kitchen supplies, but not this place. This felt like a truly luxurious little space, perfect for a couple, that the owners would actually stay in. I wish there was a place like this everywhere I traveled. I would always choose it.

Nice little cabin
We enjoyed the cute patio & swing to sit with the view and the cabin itself was well done, very clean & nicely decorated. The linens & toiletries all had a more high end feel to them. Coffee maker was not brewing coffee, just shooting out hot water so property manager may have to look into fixing or replacing. We enjoyed our stay here!
