"Very few properties are perfect and this property had a few issues, but these pale in comparison to the convenience, location, professionalism, and cleanliness. The staff more were truly amazing and they themselves deserve five stars. They were accommodating, considerate, professional, efficient, kind, and truly represented the very best of York. I would be inclined to make these apartments my go to place for any future visits to York."

"Superb accomodation, very clean and well organised, the location was perfect, near to Harrogate, Skipton, Ripon and also not far away from York. It was very quiet and the total opposite of the city life we both endure. Highly recommend the accomodation, it had everything you need, a bedroom for 2 people, lovely bathroom, living/dining room and kitchen, the views were stunning too. "The cottage was ideal for our stay in Yorkshire. Great location ... nice and quiet in a pretty village with a lovely nature reserve and decent pub. Easy reach of the Dales, Ripon, York, Harrogate and Fountains Abbey. Easy check in with private parking. The windfall apples were a bonus! Warm and comfy, decent WiFi and TV that worked. We had a small problem with the toilet but Emma got it repaired swiftly and without a fuss. Would definitely stay again. "

"Although free parking is available, it is not on site parking, it's a 7 minute walk away. Access into the property is on the first floor (up a flight of stairs because the lift is out of order). The bedroom and bathroom are down a narrow spiral staircase, so I wouldn't recommend for anyone with mobility issues. The booklet in the apartment states that complimentary gin and tonic is available, that was not the case. The fridge/freezer was switched off at the wall and the power was in a hidden...

"This was a very nice one bedroom flat that had everything we needed for our stay. Our flat was on the top floor and with heavy luggage it was a bit of a challenge but overall we enjoyed out stay very much and would recommend it to others that want to explore York."

"We chose this property because it's location allowed easy reach of York, Harrogate and sightseeing opportunities towards the North Yorks Moors. Lovely house in a quiet village. Generous rooms, great facilities. We were late in the season so didn't get a chance to use the outdoors areas but would be great in the summer. No issues, but where we had questions/requests the host responded almost immediately and came round if necessary. Highly recommended"

"Property is well located within walking distance of old city When getting to apartments do not follow google maps as it takes you up steep stairs Keyboard entrance instructions to property could have been clearer with one step missing ie press key symbol to key in code Room itself was good, however bed was uncomfortable, and sofa bed was poor. The pillows are in need of replacing and the instructions of where the linen for the sofa bed was located could have been clearer."

"50 stairs separate the loft from street level but the view is great. Nice views from all the windows except the one that opens onto the roof, which you might expect. The apartment isn't for tall people though and above 5'8" might be a little cramped. My wife and i now know how Quasimodo got his hump. That said I would not hold it against the nicely laid out apartment with its exposed 300 year old wood beams. A lovely place to stay right in the heart of the old city and immersed in history. Easy...
