"My husband and I celebrated our 20 year wedding anniversary with my parents. The Coach House is beautifully decorated! We were lucky with the weather and spent a lot of our evenings in the garden. A previous review mentioned the garden not being secure for their dog. Before booking I checked if this was being rectified as we have 2 Westies. "We normally stay in the middle of nowhere, so this was a change for us to be in a town setting. Sherborne is a really lovely and vibrant town, with interesting buildings. The cottage was very cosy and clean, very comfy beds,it had everything we needed, we could hear the Abbey bells which was lovely, it's just round the corner."

"Location and accommodation was lovely. Owners were lovely although difficult to locate on expiry. Didn’t get to see them to say goodbye. It's not 5 star but when you only need a bed for the night it's perfect. Yes the hotels a bit tired in places. If you want to pay twice the amount go 5 star but here is good."
